Thanks for the help you have given so far!

More questions! lol

I called Disney and reserved 2 connecting rooms at the ASMu for Feb. 9-13. Total was $439.00. I am thrilled! lol

I know that I have to buy 1 AP. How much does those run? I have seen the prices but I can't remember where. Overload here. lol Can I buy a child's instead of an adult to get the room rate??

We are planning to only go to MK. I had wanted to buy a 2 day pass but it seems they haven't sold those for a long time. The 4-day park hopper is the same price as the CM quoted me as ticketmania.

I have 2 choices:

1. Buy 2 adult (1 for dh and one for 10 year old ds) and 2 kid 4 day Park Hoppers and save the extra days. Total $728.00

2. Buy 2 adult and 2 kid one day tickets for the two days we go in. My Uncle gets free tickets and has offered to get us some for one day so that would make it just one day we would have to buy. Total around $200.00

Hmm, I am thinking choice 2.

Is it best to just buy the 1 day tickets when we get there? Or get them at The Disney Store or somewhere else?

I do believe that you can use the child's AP for the AP room discount.... I would probably go with your #2 choice as well....save your money & use it for the great reasturants there LOL!!

The only place you can purchase the 1 Day/1 Park tickets is on site - either at your resort, DD or the parks.

Here are two links that you may find helpful:

Enjoy your trip!

P.S. Don't be in a hurry to buy the AP. There isn't an advance purchase discount for APs, you can get a DC discount on APs at the gate (if you have a Disney Club card) and you may not need to buy one at all to get the discount on your room. There is a possibility that some discount codes will be released that give you the same room price as the AP rate. (You'd have to call and change your reservations to show the code rate. It will depend on availability). Keep an eye on MouseSavers and the DIS. You never know!

Thanks! I have been watching for the codes, waiting along with everyone else for one to come out. lol

Are they first come first served or are there enough for a lot of rooms?

Discounted rooms are always limited in number and available on a first come, first served basis. The quantity available really depends on Disney's analysis - their objective is to maximize profits (as it is for all viable businesses). Discounts are only offered if Disney thinks the resort isn't going to fill at rack rate.

Good luck - hope you get a discount that doesn't require purchase of an AP.
