WDW in August

I will be at ASMo from 8/6 to 8/14! I will be spending a lot of the trip hanging at the pool! It's getting so close!

Changed my date...I'm leaving on the 5th now! Yippee!!!!

I was referring to the Dessert party, cause I'm going to that! On the same thread, there is mention of a meet on the 10th. But looking at your dates, you'll miss that one. Sorry to get your hopes up!

I'm arriving with two eighteen year olds (my son and his girlfriend) and my daughter, 22, and her boyfriend. Still can remember doing Disney when they were young. I still get up earlier and am more awake at night while we are in the parks. Staying most of the time at OKW with a short stay at the Swan using their teacher rate. Celebrating my half of a century birthday while we are at Disney.

We'll be there Aug. 9 - 17. Staying at Wyndham Palms Resort. First trip without my grandson. He doesn't know I'm going without him. Will be there with my son (24) and his girlfriend. So most of the time I will be on my own. Which I'm kinda looking forward to. As you can see, I'm jumping for joy!

Count us in....we will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at POR from August 14th - 24th.....10 years...10 nights.

We will be singing and dancing to the sounds of Bob in the River Roost EVERY night he is playing when we are there.
Last count...that was 7 nights.

We cannot wait. Hopefully we will be able to meet some of our
"dis" friends. It would be great to put faces with the names.

Count us in DH, DD (5), BIL, SIL, DN (5), DN (2) and myself. All of us are staying at the CSR--separate rooms of course 9-21 August. We cannot wait, I guess that's why we keep watching last years WDW vacation tape over and over again. Look for the twins ( DH and BIL) they will the ones wearing the Black and White Mickey top hats, and I will be the pregnant one sipping water constantly. As for the kids, they will be the one dancing to the music before the parade starts Hope to see some of you guys there.

MomEars if you are driving down, maybe we will see you on the road.... I am a blue Mini Van with SGT 76 license plates

We won't be driving down,but maybe we'll keep an eye open for your van or your family with the hats at OKW when we arrive Aug. 7.after our stay at BCV. See you real soon.

We're celebrating DS's 6th birthday 8/9-16 at CR Tower. The four of us always seem to get lots of attention since we always dress in matching obnoxiously bright-colored tee shirts. (We have a rainbow of choices for a different color every day - corny maybe, but it makes it a lot harder to lose a little one in the crowd!)

We are leaving on August 23, driving from Philly area. I can't wait to be down there again. This year staying offsite, Country Inn at Calypso Cay, and doing Universal too, first time. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI-
According to the www.disneyworld.com site the hours for MK during the week of Aug 11 have been extended to 10pm and AK until 6pm!!
Yeah...extra hours for us in the park (we will be there 8/13-8/20)

That's awesome about the extension of hours, since we will be there the 9th-16th! Anyone who's staying at ASMo, we will have our window decorated and a sign that says "DisBoards Spoken Here!" If you see it, feel free to pop in and say "hi!" We will also be sporting lots of lime green, hope all of you will be too!
