WDW in August

I'll be there in 3 weeks! Say hi if you see me. I'll be sporting the mickey mouse ears that say MOM. Give a holler and say "Hi ". We'll be staying at BCV and OKW.

We arrive Aug. 2nd leaving Aug. 9 ASSp! I'll be the one with the cute grandson Ok, so alot of people will have a cute grandson. Can't wait cause it's his first trip to Disney and we are getting him his first haircut at the MK!

We will be there from August 3 to August 16 at OKW. My boys all have DVC hats , I have a big sun guard hat. We are in matching T shirts most of the time.

MomEars if you are driving down, maybe we will see you on the road.... I am a blue Mini Van with SGT 76 license plates

We, too, will be there in August for our "mini (minnie?)" trip, at the Poly from the 3rd thru the 6th. I will be the grandma with the grin from ear to ear, toting two daughters, one son-in-law and one precious granddaughter. Hope everyone has fun!

I'll be missing all you guys! We don't arrive until August 17, staying at OKW. I hope you all have a great trip and say hi to Mickey and Minnie for me. Tell them me and my two adorable nieces (and sister) will be visiting them real soon!

I am so excited because my 5 year old niece has been begging us to take her to see Mickey and I promised her we could go when she turned 5. She knows we're going on vacation but doesn't know where. I just can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees the castle, Mickey, Minnie, the Magic Kingdom, Dumbo and well, you guys get the picture. Have a great trip you early August travelers!

I'll be the crazy mom with the 5 kids(boys 9, 8, & 6, an emotional 4 yr girl and the cutest 16mo baby girl) and DH in tow.

We can't wait for the fun to begin.

Aug 9-16 for my 30th, I'll be too busy soaking up WDW to notice anyone around, but I'm a fat guy with a shaved head and typically wear hawaiian shirts. My wife's wardrobe is not as predictable

This is really super! Your neice will go nuts! I did this once for my DH, giving him a few hours to pack and get on the plane. He is the epitome of the workaholic and just doesn't get the need to visit WDW every few months like the rest of us in the family. I have to kidnap him to make him leave work and travel anywhere fun. We had a wonderful time, but a child's point of view will be even better for such a great surprise. I wish you a very happy trip!

We will also be there August 8-16; staying at AKL. I went 10 yrs ago for a day trip with my parents and only went to MK. This will be my dh's and 2 dd's first trip. It is getting closer!

Thanks so much for sharing my excitement!!! I was with my niece this past weekend and it was really hard not to reveal our destination. I had on my Mickey watch and my disney gold charm bracelet and she kept looking at them and saying she hopes she can see Mickey one day. I almost broke the news then but my sister would strangle me. Dear sister is convinced that if my niece finds out this far in advance she'll be bugging us to death every day asking when are we leaving. Anyway, I hope she she has a wonderful time.

And your sister is probably right! We all know that one of the very best parts of the trip is the planning and the anticipation ... If your niece knew that you were taking her, she would probably burst! It is a shame, though, that she can't be in on that part of the fun. Be sure to post after the trip to let us know how it went!

I sure will post our experiences when we get back. Thanks again for taking an interest in my first ever trip with little ones. I keep telling myself I can't be a commando pushing a double stroller .

My DS and I will be there Aug. 11-18. I am in the middle of a very ugly divorce and thought a trip to WDW was just what my DS and I needed to escape from reality. We are both very excited. It is the first time I've gone as a single mom.
