WDW for couples: your impressions of Carribean Beach Resort?

During our last trip, DH and I decided to go to Downtown Disney (from Typhoon Lagoon)... We took the first bus coming and it was stopping at Carribean Beach first. The resort looks great... And I heard it was going through refurbishment soon.

We are going to Orlando in november (we already have other plans) but we are going back again in april 2015 and since the offers for next spring are coming soon...

I would like to know if you ever stayed at CB or it you have been there at least for a day and what you thought of it.

We've stayed at Poly, AKL, POFQ, CSR... How would it compare to it?

EDIT: Change of plans, we are going to Caribbean Beach in November instead. YAY!

We have stayed there twice and am planning on going again in 2015. Stayed there 2008 and 2011. Loved the vibe!

I have stayed at CBR twice and absolutely love it. The theming is great. Of the moderates it seems just a tad more special to me than the others. Having several quiet pools is a nice touch too. For sure a thumbs up for a couples vacation.

I could not resist... I finally changed plans for our upcoming trip in November.

We were supposed to spend the first days in Art of Animation, then switch to Universal's Cabana Bay Beach...

Change of plans: We're staying in Disney World. Caribbean Beach, here we come!
