My brother, a big Disney fan, often annoys the family by expressing love (ironically) for the most obscure, one-dimensional characters. He does it just to get our goat, and it gets got on a regular basis! As we plan for our family reunion next year I sent a list of dining options to the family. Here's what I got back. Personally, Grimsby's is a lock for me, lol!

Couple other places I'm hoping to try:

Near Polynesian:

Ohana – I know there’s some so-so reviews out there, but I’m still excited.

Whispering Canyon Café – Sounds like a good time.

Trigger and Nutsy’s Medieval Faire – I know it costs a little bit, but I like the idea of eating with my hands during an archery contest. Kids would look really cute in the little green hats and I hear they’ve installed a giant animatronic Lady Kluck that jiggles kinda like Ursula in The Little Mermaid ride.

Aunt Sarah’s Afternoon Tea – Again, another luxury, but I figure at least the girls would enjoy Aunt Sarah’s stuffed muzzle nachos. “A good, strong nacho,” it says on the website. Coming from Aunt Sarah herself, I’m inclined to believe it.

Screenslaver’s Slammin’ Sliders – I know – of course I want to go to Screenslaver’s. But I’ve heard really good things about the sliders and I think it would be cool to eat in a room pulsing with strobe lights. Yes, I know it make some people nauseous and/or have seizures, but I figure it’s an experience.

Dodger’s Dogs – We all thought it was a waste of time to build an area themed around Oliver and Company, but time has proven us wrong. Given its popularity, I’m not even sure we’ll be able to get our hands on one of the Dodger’s artfully delicious sausages, but why should I worry? I've got street savoir faire.

Marahute’s Breakfast Nest – It is a little odd that a diner named after the majestic Marahute and her rare, precious eggs would specialize in omelets, but I just can’t wait to try Percival C. McLeach’s “poached” eggs. I just hope Frank, the fearful and erratic frill-necked lizard, doesn’t ruin our morning!

Sir Kay’s Special K – Not even a restaurant, just a limited edition box of Special K they sell at Disney Springs that I want to get my hands on. Hopefully it doesn’t give me Warts! (I know it won’t – they’re sold encased in a hard plastic shell to protect their value).

Grimsby’s Sandwich Courtship – One of the most unique experiences offered, Grimsby himself wants to see you happily settled down with the right sandwich. While his attempts at matching your personality with the right sandwich may sound taxing, especially when standing on the deck of a ship that’s constantly in motion, that old beanpole himself guarantees your sandwich will be...delightful. May need to talk to mom and dad about the cost, but I’m pretty committed to trying this very special, very expensive, very large sandwich.

I'm dying! Thanks for the laugh 😃
