WDW CP Question

Hi there!

I have been looking into the program for sometime now. but I recently bought a puppy and I cant bare to leave her for 6 - 8 months. Now. I know that Disney wont allow my little 5lb bundle of fur to travel with me... So, while I was looking at the Auditions for characters awhile back I found a nice apartment close to the property. Does anyone know if I can still be in the program but live at a seperate apartment? I suppose I should just call Casting but last time they told me to go to the web page haha so I just thought that I might have a better time on here

I've never heard of anyone doing that, but maybe someone else has? Apartments in that area are very expensive though, especially for the wages you'll make on the College Program. (Unless you set aside a lot of money or get lots of roomates or something..!)

This reminds me of how I am not looking forward to leaving my kitty behind again. u_u

For the College program they require you to pay rent in the apartments they provide. You could always get another apartment and pay that rent and the rent of the Disney provided apartment. However I would not recommend this and you would more than likely end up having to find a second job to even afford to do this. Hope this helps

thanks for the replies everyone! altho i will be very sad to leave my baby i think i just cant pass up this offer. i will apply and see what happens... who knows maybe they wont take me and i got all hyped up for nothing lol altho i reallllllly hope they do!!! i know a few people who have done the program and just rave about it so i cant wait. and besides you get to work in WDW! How awesome is that?
