This is the support group for anyone and everyone who has felt:

#1 a tightening in their throat

Every time a disney vacation commerical comes on, I yell "disney" at the top of my lungs and the rest of my family yells "shut up". Atleast I appreciate them.

Oh gosh, I love Disney commercials! Does anyone remember the one they ran during the Super Bowl a couple of years ago with all the players practicing the "I'm going to Disneyland" line? That one gave me chills, it was so cute.

I love them too
We rented Meet the Robinsons (loved it) the other night
At the beginning when they show the castle with the fireworks
I swear I got chills, I was telling the boys
"That's where we'll be in 2 weeks"

I think they are getting tired of me :rotfl:

Remember the older Disney one where the Mom and Dad put the kids to bed and tell them they are leaving for Disney the next day
and the Mom and Dad keep hearing the kids in the room and the son yells "I am too exctied too sleep!"
That is so me, the night before.

Im another fan... Last year I started crying at the commercial where the child cought the firefly in the jar.. My dh had thought I offically went nuts... then one month later we found out I was pregnant so he blamed it on that... BUT... each time I see a commercial or something to do w/ disney I cry even more now because I think of how happy I am going to be when I take my son....

Heck, I live in Orlando and have an annual pass and I still get emotional! Especially any commercials that have kids in them that are the same age as mine. The firefly one was brilliant.

Has anyone else seen the Disney planning DVD that they send for free in the mail? Now that is a tearjerker. My DH and I both cried through the whole introduction. It's all about kids discovering the magic of Disney. I'm getting a lump in my throat just thinking about it.

We also cried on my DD's first Disney ride, (It's a Small World.) We're an emotional people, I guess. :flower3:

Oh, please-can I join? There was one commercial about 10 years ago that I still love-it showed a man and woman playing cards and talking about fuddy-duddy ole' Mom and Dad who were at WDW. I don't remember all of what they said, but meanwhile the camera would go to what Mom and Dad were really doing, and the TV showed Mom sliding down a water slide, it looked to me like it was at the WL pool. And it showed them watching Illuminations (I think that was after some comment about how early they'd insist on going to sleep). Does anyone remember that one? And of course, for nights before any trip, I'm "too excited to sleep".

I remember that one for sure! Disney was trying to promote the parks to people whose kids have left the nest. I love that one. That's the way my parents are now. They go about once a year and act just like kids!

HAHAHAHAHAHA, I do that EVERY time the night before we leave for WDW!! :rotfl: My DH just rolls his eyes, rolls over and goes to sleep..

I am soooo part of this group  The commercials get me everytime. Even hearing music from WDW can make me cry. Am so glad I am going for therapy at DW in 2 weeks :goodvibes
But, not looking forward to withdrawal after we come home.
Already planning on how I'm going to deal with it. Will put up the Disney Christmas tree as soon as we get home. :santa:

Oh I am such a Disney sap too, I cry at everything! I love all the Disney commercials, but one that stands out is one that's been mentioned before, with the kids catching fireflys, that was when the Disney tagline was 'Where Magic Lives'. I don't even recall the exact content of the commercial, but I remember it really got to me. Another one was with a little girl trying on princess dress and the voice over was something along the lines of to a 4yr old girl, it's real, that really got me because I had a 3yr old DD at the time who loved everything princess and she was so excited to go to the shop by the castle (Tinkerbell's Treasures?) and buy her Cinderella dress, she was so into all things Disney princess, to be able to go to the MK, have breakfast at CRT and buy a dress from the castle (well, not really in the castle, but to her it was the same thing) just made me cry seeing how happy she was and being able to share that magic with her and that particular commercial hit home.princess:

I'm with you. We rented this movie as well and watched it last night...and when that castle showed up i couldn't help buy cry. DH just laughed at me and said he hopes i don't do that when we watch Wishes in a couple of weeks. Is he nuts...i'm going to bawl!!!

I love the Disney commercials so much that when we have something recorded and I am fast forwarding through the commercials, if I happen to see the castle (and believe me, I do every time) I stop and rewind so I can watch it! :happytv: My family does not see the need for this, but I know you guys understand. :thumbsup2

I remember that commericial very well even though i was still a kid myself. I'm 20 now but still a kid at heart:wizard:

You can add me to that list. Not only do I cry  at the commercials, the music on the website does it to me as well. My DH says that I'm crazy :crazy2:, and need to go to a Disney detox:rotfl2: .

Sign me up as well. Now I can't even watch Peter Pan (the new live-action one) without welling up (as that is where the music is from ;))
