this was in my womens world magazine last week.....
*every year at wdw, chefs spend 400 hours baking a gingerbread house. its so big, it doubles as a x-mas bakeshop! ingredients include: 1,050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of sugar, and 35 pounds of spices.
*move over vegas! disney strings up 11.3 miles of garland and 7 million lights each x-mas. and thats in addition to 1,360 twinkling trees.
*theres a 100% chance of snow flurries at wdw this x-mas. during mvmcp, snow machines use soap to create "flakes" that look so real, kids try to catch them on their tongue.
*mickey has tried every single treat ever made by disney chefs. that means he has sampled over 6,000 goodies. so many, he can't choose a favorite. how does mr. mouse stay so svelte? "everything in moderation" is his motto.
*mickey's got a favorite santa hat. he keeps it in his closet of --WOW!--175 different outfits. he has everything from a wet suit to a tux. (not to be outdone, minnie mouse boasts over 200 wardrobe changes.)
i just thought that was kinda fun!
also, if anyone is interested....it gives recipes for the following:
chocolate crusted key lime tart (from grand floridian cafe)
tie-dyed cheescake (pop! resort)
twinkie tiramisu (POP!)
chocolate coconut confection bars (yacht & beach club resort)
apple cranberry pie (epcot center)
