WDW Best/Worst/Overrated/Underrated Attractions

I'm loving all the love for Philharmagic on this thread. It's a huge fav of DD7, DH and me.

OK folks, here's where you get to sound off on your mostest favoritist and mostest worstest terrible awful attractions at WDW. Rules: Any attraction of any kind at any WDW park, water parks included. You can't fathom how I've waited to bash TSM. Best: Splash Mountain Worst: TSM Most overrated: TSM then again Soarin is pretty ridiculous Most underrated: Tiki Room or Carousel of Progress Katie

Worst: Stitch
Overrated: TSMM

I'm going to split up my list slightly, given that my favorite attraction and the one I think is the best are different.

Best: Tower of Terror (if there's a better combination of theming and thrill I don't know what it is)
Favorite: Expedition Everest (Splash Mountain is a close second)
Worst: Finding Nemo (I mean, you can see the speakers. It's like a disgruntled postal worker designed it)
Least Favorite: Mission: Space (because it's a terrific ride, but it makes me terrifically ill)
Over-rated: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (I know this will be unpopular. It's a good rollercoaster and I ride regularly, but it lacks that Disney flair. The looming presence of Tower of Terror only amplifies this)
Under-rated: DHS street performers (people just fly by these guys, and some are really talented. We have so much fun engaging them)

I'm copying N10CJT here and splitting this up:

Best: Expedition Everest

Favorite: Splash Mountain. "How do ya do" is my cell phone ringtone.

Worst: It's a toss up between teacups and Small World. I'm going to go with Teacups because Small World is a Worlds' Fair mainstay, even though that song makes my ears bleed. Teacups just spin around and make people sick. Ugh.

Least Favorite: Tower of Terror. I can't deny that the theming on this ride is incredible, and the couple times I've ridden I have actually not hated it ... but I am petrified of elevators. I have nightmares about them.

Overrated: Again, toss up. Peter Pan's Flight and Dumbo. I know these are great for little kids, but I can only imagine that the waits on these lines is only made worse with small children.

Underrated: Agreeing with N10CJT and stating the street performers at Hollywood Studios. You could kill a whole afternoon bantering with them! You know ... while everyone else is on Tower of Terror.

My husband got all worked up and found himself in an existential crisis because when I asked him, he had to differentiate between "favorite" and "best" as well. lol.

I definitely feel you on RnR and the street performers as well. I agree on both.

Splash doesn't really need an explanation does it? The Speedway is HOT, smelly, slow loading, and slow moving. Those black seats have burned me badly each and every ride...so now we skip it unless it is at night and there is NO line. I simply didn't "get" the appeal of ETWB. The Lumiere AA was great but the rest was awkward and not fun. Monsters is a laugh riot, especially if the CM's are really "on" that day and if you have a good audience.

Underrated - all of AK (Flights of Wonder, FOTLK, Gorillas!!)

Best Attraction: Soarin (Several on this thread said overrated, but OMG I loved it -- did it for the first time Oct. 20th this year, and it replaces my previous favorite, Tower of Terror, for the number one position)

Worst Attraction: Captain EO (It's just horrible and I'm even a big Michael Jackson fan, but a fan of his song writing, singing, and dancing -- not of this) I haven't been to this since the 80s. Definitely worth a skip

Most Overrated: Toy Story Mania (My son loves it, but the popularity of this is beyond my comprehension) // A close second is Fantasmic. (Again DS is a huge fan), but people's willingness to gladly wait 90 minutes for this high season to get a good seat is another mystery to me, and I do it too because DS thinks it's worth it.

Most Underrated: Mickey's Philharmagic -- This is my favorite attraction in the MK. I'm such a fan of wonderful Disney music and glad to see them incorporating this wonderful asset into rides and shows.

Best: Tower of Terror. The ride is awesome and the theming is even better.
Worst: Captain Eo. Just terrible. Actually, the whole pavilion should be bulldozed .
Overrated: Toy Story Mania. Ok, but not worth the wait times.
Underrated: Mickey's Philarmagic. Love this show.
