WDW at Christmas--How do you stand the wait???

OMGosh, I am like a little kid and its only June--Am I crazy? I have a notebook and I write down EVERYTHING. I have most of my ADR's all ready and I have only committed to this a week ago !!

We decided not to tell the kids yet, so I have no one to off, I just feel like giggling all the time now. But Christmas is so FAR away, I don't know if I can stand it. How do you all pass the time?
My girlfriend said just forget about it--WHAT is she crazy?? You guessed it, she has never gone before and has no desire (is she REALLY my friend?)

I'm in big trouble-guess I will hang here and get my fix.

This will be our 2nd Christmas at WDW. To help pass the time, I made lists of stuff I wanted to pack, made tentative day-to-day schedules, and spent a lot of time here on the disboards getting helpful tips and info. I also tried to come up with extra chore charts that the kids could do to earn extra money. I also tried to come up with trivia games that we could play if the line for attractions were really long. (who am I?, what park am I in - list certain attractions, etc.) I also had the kids make a paper chain to help count down the days until we go. On the inside of the chain, they wrote their favorite character, attraction, food or memory. It was fun taking off a link each night. They also cut out Mickey heads to decorate our hotel room window. I hope some of these help pass the time.

Those are so cute!! We have planned on keeping it from them and coming up with a fun way to spring it on them that we are going...not sure if it will work. So none of that will work for the kids unless I tell them. I guess from the way I am reacting, it would be better to keep it a secret from them

Looks like we will be there at the same time. This will be our first Christmas trip there as a family. There is a lot to write down--Am I the only one who uses a thick notebook? I also bought the Passporter which we loved last time and I will be signing up with TGM as well. So excited and YES the DIS board is the best place to be. My AAA rep is about to kill me I keep contacting her

My Ds (11 years old) and I can't stand the wait. We watched the Disney DVD planning guide last night and both wanted to go right then!

We have all our ADR's and are excited about the candlelight processional we are doing Christmas Eve.

Anybody know what time Santa visits at the All Star Movie Christmas Eve?

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a big fat notebook! We will be doing Christmas in Disney as well. I can't wait!!!! I made my WL reservations in January, so the wait has been almost unbearable for me. My family thinks I'm nuts for obsessing over it. I spend time every day checking out websites and books about Disney. I just love the music that you hear when you do the WL link on the Disney website. Good Luck with the countdown!:

We are also staying at the WL...its our favorite place! Have you stayed there before? When are you going? I cannot wait to see it in DEC. I hear it is gorgeous. Looks like its pretty popular too. We have a courtyard veiw reserved for DEC 19-28th. Hang in there, we can commiserate (is that a word?) together here at the DIS. Hey this is your first post--

Glad i'm not the only one going slowly insane waiting for christmas at Disney. We will be at GF 12/20/28. I've already got all of our ADR's including CP on Christmas Eve and MVMCP tickets. The only thing that is keeping me somewhat distracted is planning for our Disney Cruise. We leave in 8 days.

I am so glad that someone does that, I crank up the computer speakers when the kids are around (the Disney website theme song) , they can't wait until our next visit. The music makes them smile (me too) Have fun!!!

Hey you only have 5 months!!! We have 11, I said Eleven I think the planning and anticipation of the trip is half the fun... It will be here before you know it, I promise

Thanks for the We will be at WL Dec 19-26, also in a courtyard view. Although I have been to Disney many times, it is my first time at a Disney resort - so the anticipation is huge!!!I'm so excited to see Disney all decked out for the holidays. I've been a bit distracted with a new job the past few weeks, so I haven't had much time to think about it lately. Reality hit when my AAA agent said my package must be paid in full by Oct 29th - that's only 3 months away. Time is going quickly and we'll be there before we can say pixie dust! Have fun planning!

I have been planning our Christmas trip for a year, so 5 months sounds great to me. We will be there from Dec 22-29 staying at All Star Movies, we made our reservation in Sept of last year. This is our second time to go for Christmas, the first time was in 2001 and it was beautiful. I spend a lot of time on all these boards getting ideas and some really great information. I have begun making our daily schedule now that I have all our ADR's made and we know which park we will be in everyday. I have also started working on matching shirts for us all to wear every day and there are 24 of us going so that is going to keep me busy for awhile. I enjoy planning these trips almost as much as I do going on them! Have fun planning, it will be here before you know it!

MickeyFan3, You certainly are not the only one, I am on the boards everyday,planning and checking out others ideas and plans. We are going 12/19-23 to Beach Club(first time there) and then to our timeshare with my family...10 of us to enjoy the Magic together. I am so excited and my family tries to calm me down. No way I love being this obsessed. I have 130 days left.
