WDW '07 Season Rate Changes

Know that DVC doesn't follow WDW Resort Seasons but, the following was reported in allears newsletter I received yesterday.

WDW has revamped their rate seasons for '07.

They added a Summer period (5/24 - 8/4) w/increased rates from the Regular period.

Not sure how many others try to conserve their points on the weekends & stay somewhere else on-site but, find this interesting. Especially considering they haven't released any codes past the beginning of June this year yet.

I read this too and was happy to own DVC and not worry about it, but we always travel Memorial Day weekend and the new Summer rates will be in effect.

I'd rather pay weekend points than $129 t tax for a Value Resort!

We all have talked about the Resort prices rising, and many thought it wasnt going to happen anytime soon. This year, the resorts have been hitting hard with the price increases.
