We are getting married in WDW in December and staying at the WL on our honeymoon. We have planned most of our ADR's and we have Artist's Point on our list, but it occurred to me that we did not put down WCC. I feel like we should try it, because it seems like something that must be experienced at least once and it's right in our hotel (and who knows when we will be able to afford to stay at the WL again lol!), but I'm not sure if it is worth going to.
The skillet looks like something we would enjoy-is that the only thing on the menu? The milkshakes look like a real treat. We don't mind that it will be loud-we like restaurants that have a fun themed atmosphere-we are definitely not the type who needs a romantic restaurant every night on our HM~we have lined up the HDDR, Biergarten, & Garden Grill, with a few romantic places mixed in. But (and please no flames when I say this
) we have a short fuse for misbehaved kids running around while we eat and I've heard that the staff encourage the kids to run around....not sure if that's true??
We certainly don't mind eating amongst children, we just mind eating amongst unruly or unstructured children. We also don't like being center of attention. We don't mind when a waiter jokes around with us (we've been to 50's PTC & have lucked out so far with waitresses who joke with us but haven't made a spectacle of us in front of all the people in our room), but we would feel really uncomfortable if a waiter made us stand up & do something silly.
Anyways, do you think WCC is worth us checking out? It's right in our hotel so I'm thinking we might be jealous that we did not eat there since it seems so fun!
Thanks!
