WCC worth leaving MK?

I've heard a lot of great reviews of WCC. However, the only way we could fit it in is if we went late evening after leaving Magic Kingdom. It would be our second night in MK, so I'm not worried about missing wishes (touch wood we'll see it on the previous day) but is it really worth leaving the park early, and trying to get there on disney transport? If so, why? Thanks

If you've never been the the WL, it's worth a trip by itself. You could take the boat over from MK, which was never crowded when we were there. At night, you can even watch the boat parade from the beach. DW and I are debating the same question about WCC being worth it, but we're definitely going back to visit the WL. Of course, this is our first trip back to WL (and WDW) since our honeymoon 10 years ago, so I may be biased. However, I think WL is the best looking resort on Disney property.

What's WCC?

We enjoy eating there, in fact we will have ADR for this coming Friday night (first night of our trip).

We left the MK for a 5:15 reservation one night and went right back for the night. Transportation was easy and relaxing and we enjoyed the break. The Wilderness Lodge really is beautiful and glad we got the opportunity to see it.

We had a great meal and great laughs at the WCC :thumbsup2

The Electrical Water Pageant passes WL between roughly 9:35 and 9:55 -- or at least, it did when we were there in Dec. We did find the variation in times a little frustrating, but I guess it's one of those things that's difficult to run on an exact schedule....

My family loves WCC. It's a must do trip. Last year I got some of the best pictures there. My son still talks about the meal there. The food is great, the antics are great and the atmosphere is fun.

We usually do this after one of our Animal Kingdom days since the park closes earlier. We are there for 2 weeks. We drive over and can leave when we are ready.

Checking out the Wilderness Lodge is also fun!
