WCC with only 1 adult and 1 child?

My DS, age 5 will be at FW for 8 days, my DW will fly down for a long a weekend (newer job-no vacation time). She's not crazy about the posted menu at WCC. What do you think about my DS and myself going without her and I would be just getting the skillet, he wouldn't. Would that be weird?

I would go when DW isn't there and have fun. There isn't any reason why you couldn't get the skillet and him something else off the kids menu.

Me and DH did it with no kids and had a good time. We had the skillet which we wouldn't do again, I don't like meat off bones and DH hates mash but he was happy with the meat.

I loved the silliness and our waitress was great despite us having no kids with us she still threw straws everywhere!

We will return this year but will eat off the other menu.
