hey guys --- update on my motorcycle guy....he's in ICU and in very critical condition. They had a small blip in the paper YESTERDAY, but he is more serious than what is listed....broken bones, internal injuries, etc.....thank god for all his helmet was on.....he is 22 and she is 43.......the accident is being investigated and even though her car was drivable, it was towed.....

as the investigation continues, seems like all us witnesses saw something different. I could care less about that, I just hope he is ok, and I hope she is (mentally) as well.....just as a witness to this, I feel screwed up, I can't imagine being the one who caused it.


BUT.....there may be a chance to be an advocate of something here.......when we won both the basketball and football titles....a young kid from Venice, a student at UF.....was drunk, had other people in the car, etc and after the celebration.....plowed into a standing cop on the street killing him......so in that instant two families lives ended....yes, he was so wrong....no drinking and driving........but gosh....maybe around the whole stadium should be closed on game weekends - there are just people walking and milling about EVERYWHERE....maybe Gville should offer free rides (taxis, busses, tow trucks) on weekends. here at the beach on holiday weekends...the tow businesses will give you a ride and tow your car home with you. maybe I am talking out of my ***....two to four feet difference and that bike would have taken the four of us out as well.

anyway, please pray Jonathan is going to be ok!

Deborah, yes I had the quote this morning and we have a room and not a lifeboat which i was thinking it would be!!!

John thinks it is too expensive, but as it is half deposit I think I can get him to book it for now.

Good Morning Marilyn and Deborah! I saw on the Baltic thread that you got room number 6116 in your quote Marilyn. That's a good room. It's right at the aft elevator. I had 6118 for the PC and I think Darrell and Lisa had 6116.

We got assigned 6078 for our Christmas cruise. I'm not happy with it. I wanted 5122. Then at least if I can't get 5th floor aft, at least give me 6th floor aft near the elevator. But I'm in the middle of the hallway between elevators and the nearest is mid ships. I'm going to try to change it, but there's not much left on the site this morning......I already checked. Oh well, at least I'm on the boat. I didn't think it was going to sell out this fast because the thread is so slow.

I think fall is back. Today it is the low 60's (amazing that it was in the 80's on Sunday).

Oh I wish to have room 6116 but it was nzdisneymum got it as we were cruising with them last year at Med. We got Cat 9 2012 as we are happy with it.

Very tempt for Christmas Cruise but my husband choose Batlic oh well.

I didn't realise that nothing left as it look SO GOOD.

Maybe someone cancel later,, never know, you will get the room. Let DU know that you want room 5112.

good morning all, Well, today is the big day... my 2 hour lecture to 100 11th grader about addiction and the brain. I've been working on it night and day to the point that my house is a mess!

the booking frenzy was something yesterday, I was tired all day and I didn't end up booking anything new. The EB TA may even go down further in price and they are planning on it being half empty or half full! So, all cat. 11 will get an upgrade. They are getting way less than the last one because it is in April instead of May. So, you are going to love it. Most of my friends who booked other cruises yesterday ended up spending into the $13K range. And I have about 50 friends on the WB TA, so it was a little sad yesterday not booking with all of you. But, there were no options about April and Sept. You guys are going to love the days at sea, they fly by so fast!!!!!!

I was eyeing the kids gameboys....they need to spend more time outside anyway...
