This will probably be the last time I post here before my cruise. So I will post pics when I get back. Its been a rough week so far. I have a project to do before we leave Fri. and a test TH. But I am soooo excited. My sister and dad don't know we are staying at Carribean Beach so we can go to DTD and then the next day we are taking a van to port (FLTOurs) since I want to be there earlier than Disney was going to get us there.

I hope everyone gets to do the 2010 cruise they want. We are waiting until the new ship in 2011.

No, still waiting for email from DU.....I expected to wait until at least tomorrow though.....Marla warned me in advance.

But I checked the prices out on DCL site and it's just under the wire of my cut off so I'm booking it! YEAH! And Du may come in at a little less. Hopefully.

I'm so glad you got your Baltic. I've been skulking around your thread and there's a lot of WB PCers on there......including Linda/seaulater......so you'll get mini navs again. That'll be awesome. It will be an action packed cruise with lots of disers and lots of ports. You'll have a blast!

I had an email from our travel agent.

We are booked on the eastbound transatlantic, in a cat 11, Cabin 7009. The cost for both of us is $2,321 without the insurance and transfers.

I don't think that is too bad for a 14-night.

Not that airfares won't go up, for for April 2009, the one way fare from Dublin to Chicago is $306 USD, it is about $77 USD from Barcelona to Dublin.

Wow Ian, the cheapest airfare I saw for April 2009 from Barcelona to Detroit was a bit over $1000! It doesn't seem like it should be so much different than Chicago. Crazy stuff.

I just got back from a few days at WDW. I can't possibly catch up. But, from the looks of things, you guys have been busy booking cruises. I wish I could do a TA with you guys, but, school schedule will not allow it. However, I did ask my TA to move a dummy booking to the Christmas 2010. From the sounds of the prices, I might not be able to afford it. I will find out when the reservation gets updated. LOL.

Talking to John last night about cancelling the B2B Western and only doing the Tortola. I told him that I really, really, really, really wanted to do the Christmas cruise. He told me that he only really, really wants to do the B2B both cruises. Then he said do what you have to do but just to keep it in mind.

I kept both cruises on the B2B and I'm booking the Christmas cruise too. We can do both and make it happen.

Great way for me and DH to make decisions huh? My 4 really's to his 2. Then we try to compromise and come to a decision. This time we both get what we want. Wooo Hoooo!

I was just perusing the thread about the bookings... looks like more people are looking at the WB cause it hits the islands, etc... it's also more though... oh well...

Maybe we'll have the ship to ourselves...

I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting...still no email from DU. I was warned the email might take a little bit to get out, but I want to know NOW!!! I was at work all day, then had some errands to run, then had do go and vote tonight (federal elections). If I don't hear tonight I'll have to wait until late tomorrow evening. I work tomorrow, then my daughter and I are going out for dinner and her birthday shopping spree(we had to cancel this from last week) so I won't be home until later. Sure hope I can make the EB TA happen.

You know, I don't know what seating we're at? We prefer the late seating.

You ate breakfast with Sukie. I'm surprised the two of you did have a muffin fight.

As I recall both of you were thick as thieves while we were on Big Thunder Mountain.

I'll make sure the travel agent changes us to the late seating. She's booked a few times for us and knows we prefer late, but I'll double check.
