We are going to book the Eastbound cruise.

Not that this matters to anyone else around here, but I checked the west bound departure date (September 18, 2010) and it is Yom Kippur.

So, it would have to be the east bound in April for us.

Ok... I will pencil you in... That's in April, right? Conflict with Easter anyone????

But I am VERY afraid of flying into Barcelona alone for this sailing At this point I am seriously considering booking a TA so if either or both of you are interested let me know

The airport at Barcelona is beautiful and very easy to navigate. I'd go there alone, and I'm not much to travel alone. Hope that helps

Maybe I'll plant the bug in Paul's ear that he can get rid of me for a while for a TA. I'd love to do either one, but like Deborah can't take the kids out of school like that again. It was hard on them to miss so much.

OK Here is my Pronouncement (Though Not Yet Etched in Stone)

When I got home from work, I finally had time to look over everything.

We would LOVE to do the Baltic, but I nearly fell over at the prices. I just don't think we can swing that (or want to). I wish I could, but $8 +/- grand for the two of us is a little too rich for my blood.

Soooooo .... we are seriously considering a Transatlantic (TA to you riff-raff).

Not sure which direction. Either would be fine with us. What would sway us is who is going.

Are you saying watch out for the ship I'm on??? just kidding, it would be much more fun with friends across that great blue sea.

I'm game I think that the WB TA would be warmer But when else am I ever likely to see Portugal or the UK or Spain So guess that means we'll just have to pack a few sweaters and umbrellas And Michelle, since I'll miss you on the Med and Baltic, thank goodness we'll at least see you on the TA

Must say that I am probably dreaming too, but want to hold the res for now. If I go w/ DCL then I'll probably have to cxnl the Tortola cruise in 09.

Will need to still check out the other cruise line prices too once they come out. I really want to do DCL but $2000 is alot of MULLA!

Yep, the Baltic is out of the question on DCL. The TA with a one way airfare would be much more possible. I'm attracted to the Westbound because of ending up in the Caribbean for a few days Plus it gives more time to save up $$ from my Sept 09 cruise.

I'd be more likely to do April too because Tyler and I both do much better with cooler temps. But we'd be sad if it's too cold to swim, so that wouldn't work either. But April is better for school because I think it would be better to miss towards the end of the school year rather than the beginning. But I don't want to scare people away with the thought of Tyler being onboard again.
