OK, here's the detailed version of what happened today. It's very scary.

One boy in class said something that made him mad, so Tyler pushed him and then ran into the bathroom. The teacher thinks he might have ran to hide in the bathroom to keep himself from losing control more, but we don't know. He wouldn't come out, so the art teacher came in to try to get him out. He opened the door and grabbed her arm and bit her. She went to get the social worker/psychologist for help. She tried to talk to him but he was enraged and sputtering nonsense words.

She sat outside the door waiting for him to come out but before she could react, he flung the door open, ran past her into the classroom, jumped on another kid and slammed the kid's head into the desk, then it took 2 adults to try to restrain him (the social worker/psychologist and the principal). They had to carry him, kicking and screaming and thrashing to the office where they both had to physically restrain him until he calmed down because he grabbed scissors off the principal's desk and tried to stab the school social worker/psychologist telling her he was going to kill her and that she was chosen to die.

They were afraid of me being alone with him today because they've never seen him like that and were really scared. They said his voice changed into a gutteral tone and his eyes were glazed over like he wasn't even in there. I jokingly told them it sounds like I need to call an exorcist (I told them I have to joke or I'll cry from frustration).

So he's doing schoolwork and cleaning here at home. NO fun stuff for him at all.

Still waiting to hear from the psychiatrist's office, but probably won't get a call back until tomorrow because he's not in the office on Wednesdays.

I already talked to his dad and he's just as shocked as I am.

You could have just asked to be center of attention   My problems mean nothing :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I feel so sorry for you  I'm going to start praying for the people in Tyler's life.

Monica,
I hope this doesn't come out wrong, but reading about how you are overcoming depression is an eye-opener. My aunt appears to struggle with depression, and suffers greatly, but won't take action. I'm in a different town, so there is little I can do, other than call her and leave messages. I used to get so frustrated because she does not respond, but I'm starting to understand how difficult it is for her. So I'll continue to leave messages and reach out. So thank for for sharing your struggles and successes :hippie:

:cool1: Okay I'm only 60 pages behind now, but I think I will actually be able to get onto disboards tonight and get caught up! We got the electrical wiring changes finished last night in our kitchen. The drywallers are starting their thing today. This weekend is busy with MIL and then TobyKeith concert, so next weekend it'll be paint the walls and put in the floor! After that its just putting the cabinets together and mounting them. It's all coming together (just way too slowly!)

Happy Wed everybody!

Have fun with MIL  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: and Toby Keith :yay: :yay:

Gaylean, sorry for the struggles. Wilson has a friend @ school that is like this too. I never can understand why he keeps going back to play with him. This year Wil told me he had a new best friend at school, I'm relieved. They hang out and fly paper airplanes together. Low stress :thumbsup2 I have never gotten involved in the issue with Wilson and his friend since he seems to be making the choice to play with this kid, I figured it was his battle to fight. On the other hand, Molly had a bully from K-2nd grage, that girl I had no problem checking in with her parents, teachers etc...to get Molly in a safe place. She was one of the those "frenemy" girls, they pretend to be friendly and then stab ya in the back when no one was looking. Poor Molly she never saw it coming. Fortunately that girl moved so we only see her randomly now at other friends bday parties (but those are awful) the strange thing is that the parents are both really nice, just not heavy handed enough with their mean daughter in my mind. :sad2: Good luck and remember, sometimes venting to us helps you heal ::yes::
.

Thank you so much. The mean kid asked Ethan to play tag today and Ethan told him NO :yay: He said he doesn't want to play with him and if his friend wants to play with him they can play something else.

Cute pictures Deb. Happy Anniversary Ian and Deborah.

Hi everyone else :grouphug:

I skipped a few pages and didn't comment on everything I read. Maybe I'll go back and skim. I just hate bringing up old stuff.

Today I took some kids to the park and it is 100 degrees  I'm wondering if I'll ever cool down.

Just popping in to say "hi". I got back from Scottsdale yesterday. It was lots of fun, but I was exhausted! No down time, we played lots of games, baked a pumpkin pie from a real pumpkin (our fall tradition for the past few years), watched the movie Zathura about 4-5 times, swam, watched Mythbusters, walked the dog, and...I got to try out a Wii for the first time! Very fun, I can see why everyone likes it so much! I wasn't too bad at bowling, but sucked at tennis.:rotfl:

It was way too hot for me, it's still in the high 90s-100 range  down there. I'm so glad to be back home where it feels like fall.:cloud9:

Just read the last few posts and can see I have some catching up to do...

"too many butts in a row"....:confused3 There's got to be a story there!

It sounds like you had a fun weekend. We haven't been to Scottsdale this year. I guess the season is over. We can only afford those hotels in the summer. It's hotter here than there.

Marilyn

oh thank 14 years today, will we survive another 11 years?

Ohhhh two weeks that is great

we just go for a week (think not enough):rotfl: :rotfl: we need a break and find out that Ian's friend and their family are going same time us but they flight out at Glasgow.

Will arrange to meet up one evening.

Scottishwee35

It is our 40th next year!!!:scared1: We met 41 years ago last June!!! You can do it!!!

Nice that you have friends going the same time as you. Good to have seperate hols and just meet up rather than spend too long together and fall out!!:lmao:

Jon and I will be married 12 years on Dec. 31 and I keep wondering "How did I get that old"

I did something last night that I haven't done in YEARS......get your minds out of the gutter people! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I colored my hair. I wanted brown w/ reddish tint....got red. That's ok - I used to be a red head when I colored my hair last time :rotfl: Had to cover up those grays :rotfl2:

I need to color my hair so bad. People look at my hair when they are talking to me  I just don't have time since I work right in the middle of the day. It seems like there has to be a special occasion to force me to get it done. Maybe I should just go back to brown so my hair isn't striped.

Ah G... some day your page will come...

Just keep waiting...

or posting...

I'll stop now for a while so you can try and get it on your own...

May I suggest a new page since I've corrupted this one??? ;)

Oh Monica, I'm sure it looks great! I need to do mine too, but can't find a red bright enough! ;)

My MIL (notice no D for darling AGAIN) picks a bright red but I swear it is purple every time

And yes I'm mad at her again. It will never end.

I've typed enough for one day. Maybe it's my new goal to never have an entire page to myself :lmao: :lmao: Maybe I did it on one of the old threads and never noticed it ;)

And remember when you feel old, just think of us, we are old :rotfl2:

btw, Paul's parents celebrate their 50th this year on NYE. We will be on the cruise. Passive Agressive on my part ::yes::
