Well, we're heading out the door soon......going to Downtown Disney today. It's an off day......trying to take it easy and pace myself.

I'll be calling Connie soon to set up a lunch for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be DISer Day! We're meeting Connie for lunch and Monica for dinner. Now that's a good day!:thumbsup2

Hello Holly

Sorry to heard about Tyler at school.

Same with Olivia - she is bad behaviour at home.

But she had a good behaviour at school.

She supposed to be attended homework classes every Monday. Well she left school and walking home alone.

Her teacher got panic and drove to my house with my son and told Olivia off.

I got home from work and I don't understand why she walked home alone as she know she must with Keith.

Today I had meeting with support teacher and she make up the chart for her.

I try stop worry but I cannot help it

I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I hope things get better soon.

We have our own problems around here. One of Ethan's friends has a friend that calls Ethan names and won't let him play with them. I told Ethan that the kid was jealous of their friendship and now Ethan wants to go to tell his friend this. I want him to have friends but I don't want him to mean. It seems like there isn't an in between these days. You're either a bully or a nerd. This child tells Ethan that he is slow and can't hit or kick that hard. I know I need to stay out of it but it breaks my heart. And it is worse this year because he is actually in the same class as this kid and they sit at the same table so now he is saying Ethan is slow in his work  The teacher told me Ethan has been the first one to finish every time and although I think the competition is good, I don't want him rushing through it and making mistakes. I just don't know what to do and of course Jon tells me to leave it alone. Oh and the other thing is that a few of the kids tell him he is annoying and Jon thinks this is a good learning experience for Ethan because he needs to learn what not to talk about to certain people :sad1:

OH MY GOSH, I'M SO EXCITED! (And so is Tyler!) :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I heard on the news today that since the house was demo'd yesterday, today is the first day they allow SPECTATORS! There's a K-mart parking lot you go to and wait in line for the shuttle buses. They have quite a few running back and forth, you can go, get OFF THE BUS at the spectator area and stay and watch AS LONG AS YOU WANT and they'll tell you when the last shuttle is headed back so you can get back to your car. The buses run from 7:30am-7:30pm. We went there straight from OT and waited an hour, but then the security guard told us the next bus coming was the last one, and we wouldn't fit on it. :guilty: So we're going to try again after school tomorrow! We'll be there much earlier in the day tomorrow and will surely have a chance to go watch. :yay:

I heard Ty was here this morning, but had to leave to go to the other house. They're doing 2 houses right now, this one here in Lansing and another in Wisconsin and he's going back and forth between both sites.

No time to read posts yet, just got home, Tyler's eating supper, it's 8pm, have to get him into bed as quickly as possible so he can get up in the morning for school. Back in a bit!

That sounds like so much fun Holly! I hope you make it to the site today and can tell us all about it :)

GINA, you're so tiny! And soooo lucky too! Most women who've already gone through pregnancy get really big, really early. You, on the other hand, have such a cute & tiny little bump! :goodvibes

I popped a LOT quicker this time around. I was wearing maternity clothes at like 9 weeks, but then everything slowed down. I'm sure I'll gain more steadily now, since I'm down to the third trimester.

Have fun Deb! I wish I could be down at WDW right now!!!

Back to the awful work week I'm muddling through... Friday can't come fast enough!

Oh my gosh, Deborah, I can't believe she just left and started walking home! I'd be worried too, but I'm sure the teacher at school should have some helpful advice for you. Hang in there!

Holly & Deborah - major   s to you guys. Prayers too. Just remember you ladies are amazing mothers (and strong too).

Michelle - old avatar - I just loved the old one - maybe cuz she reminded me of Pooh being stuck w/ his but t out too :lmao:

Lisa - so good to see you here again. As others have stated - glad that Frank is doing so well, and that you are getting a much deserved break from having Mom around. Enjoy some YOU time.

Kathe - sent you a pm to see what we can do to meet up when you're here.

Nan - as it gets closer we need to figure out when WE are going to meet.

Deb - glad you had a great time at MK yesterday - loved what they did at the CP for the table. Loved the Eeyore story too. Didn't Tigger what to send ME kisses?? :sad2:

::yes:: :thumbsup2 what day of the week is best for you? we arrive 12/23 leave 12/27

Thanks John, you confirmed our belief that if we had a leak, it wouldn't go away. So it's either something spilling, being allowed to over flow, or something else.

All I know, the burn mark across the ceiling and all of the water spots are not pretty.

Ironically, the tenant's ceilings are perfect, and they have the roof above them!

This is not the fun part of being the owner, sorry buddy I feel your pain

Gaylean, I would not know what to do in this situation. I do tend to agree with Jon though. And maybe you can mention to the teacher that kids are saying mean things to Ethan, and maybe the teacher can act like she's noticed it on her own and tell the kids that type of talk is not allowed, maybe she can address the class as a whole, so the kids won't have a chance to tease Ethan for his mom saying something to the teacher. :confused3 I really don't know, sorry. That's a crappy situation.

What's with kids now a days? Or were they always this mean at this age? :confused3 So sorry that you both are going through this. Not sure if this would be better, or make things worse, but could Ethan be seated at a different table than the other guy? :confused3

Sorry for my "non-parental" thoughts - I DO MEAN WELL :rotfl:
