That sounds devine. I LOVE Monet....I have his pictures as prints all over my house. I can't even imagine walking thru the gardens that inspired him. What a trip that is.

Isn't that the best place. Paul and I went shortly after we started dating. We refer to that trip as our "real" honeymoon . . . I would love to go and see it again some day

A visit to Monet's Gardens was such a beautiful and moving experience.

We also went to la orangerie in Paris to see the water lilies (click on the virtual visit, then Salle 1 or Salle 2, then click and drag the image). Imagine oval rooms built to display panoramic paintings that engulf you.

Then a visit to my all time favorite museum, Musee d'Orsay. Just can't get enough of the Impressionism and Post-Impressionism galleries.

In London, we went to the Courtauld Gallery. (Click on any of the images.) A lovely gathering of artwork assembled from private collections.

We are wondering what party nights there might be on the Baltic cruise, and a Norwegian Troll night looks good. BUT, we need you..........................

Hey Holly how is the popcorn sales for Tyler going? We petered out. Wil got his normal haunts and made ~ $500, but we just didn't have the engery to make the sales at his races like we intended. More focused on the racing, which is fine with me. Willie also decided he was ok with not going for the big goal. Funny that $500 sounds low to him huh? Most of the boys in his pack don't even make it to $200

He's up to about $550 and still going. Yesterday when we picked up a prescription from the psychiatrist's office, he asked if anybody there would like to buy any (we had some spares in the car), and the receptionist made a copy of the order form to pass around the office, so I hope that drums up a few sales. I even asked when I got my oil change yesterday! We'll be hitting more streets in my neighborhood this weekend. His dad says he should be able to get a couple hundred in sales with his co-workers and family. Tyler SOOOOOO wants to be the top seller in his pack to win the prize that a guy in the scout office is giving! It's an inflatable 2-person rowboat.

Sorry, I got distracted trying to clean. This time, I'm not stopping until the whole house is clean and de-cluttered. I want to have a living room that doesn't have all surfaces covered in crap. I want to have living room tables we can actually USE to put a drink glass on or a vase of flowers. I want to be able to walk through the house without stepping over crap. I want to be able to have counter space in the kitchen to try to start cooking, etc.

Sorry, not in charge of Holly tonight......she probably fell asleep.

Remember she's working for the energizer bunny now five full days a week. No more getting off at 2pm after dising all day. She's probably exhausted.

I'm always exhausted, but that never stops me from DISing! I do get off work at 3 Mon-Wed and just work 7-6 Thurs & Fri to make up for lost hours.

Except yesterday I had to leave work at 12:45 to remove Tyler from school. So he lost his privilege of karate class.

We are at the moment Deb. I haven't cancelled the second week to book the Baltic cruise, but I would cancel to book another or if we needed to release that money later. Who knows what the economy will be doing. Seems to go from bad to worse!

That's what I was thinking too. It's less than the first week even.

Besides, John loves the idea of walking off the boat to get a new KTTW card and then getting back on before anyone else. I thank that will be worth it too.

That would be special. What would be great is to not tell the kids and then get back on the ship after they were all sad.

economy - that scared me

Ian's dad came last night and blah blah about people laid off also bulgarly might do around xmas times.

We keep calm and we still never told them about Baltic Cruise

We wait and see how it going next year. Maybe we saving up if heard dollar go up we paid it off. We hold it the pounds at the moment. I paid 1,400 dollars for deposit and don't think we got very good rates

Oh well I better go and clean the kitchen and mob the floor and things to bit to bit for packing.
