Thanks for sharing the food find Ian. We don't have arnold here in CA, but I think our Oroweat is the same, (kind of like Bestfoods/hellman's mayonnaise thing)

I will for sure be on the look out for them. I have also just tried the Morningstar veggie burgers. I like the pizza flavored ones. I have also recently tried greek yogurt. It's great to doctor up for a dip or in place of sour cream.

Morningstar Garden burgers are great and their new Asian burgers are to KILL for!

Really, excellent and 1 point each. Great if you grill them, then cut them up and toss them with some noodles and some broccoli stir fried with garlic. Maybe a few sprays of Wishbones, salad spritzer Asian Silk dressing!

YUM YUM YUM

You guys are making me hungry. It really sounds good.

:dance3: :dance3: Glad you had such a great time. Sounds amazing.

And tell Jon, I read last night conversation. I was going to post a welcome back to him until he called me Beavis. He just might have to sleep on the porch next month. Or he won't get any of the spanish rice.

He did make up your new name Monique ;) but I wouldn't put it past him to make up a nick name for her too :lmao:

This may be my new favorite song. "I kissed a girl and I liked it" is SOOO old :lmao:

Don't call me
Leave me alone
Not gonna answer my phone
Cuz I don't
No I won't see you

I'm out to have a good time
To get you off of my mind
Cuz I don't
And I won't need you (woot! woot!)

Send out a 911
We're gonna have some fun
Hey boy, you know
You better run

Cuz it's a girl's night
It's alright without you
I'm gonna stay out
And play out without you
You better hold tight
This girl's night is without you
Let's go
G.N.O.
Let's go
It's a girl's night

I'll dance with somebody new
Won't have to think about you
And who knows
What let go will lead to

You'll hear from everyone
You'll get the 411
Hey boy
You knew this day would come

[CHORUS]
Cuz it's a girl's night
It's alright without you
I'm gonna stay out
And play out without you
You better hold tight
This girl's night is without you
Let's go
G.N.O.
Let's go
It's a girl's night

Hey boy
Don't you wish you could have been a good boy
Try to find another girl like me, boy
Feel me when I tell ya
I am fine
And it's time for me to draw the line

[CHORUS]
Cuz it's a girl's night
It's alright without you
I'm gonna stay out
And play out without you
You better hold tight
This girl's night is without you
Let's go
G.N.O.
Let's go
It's a girl's night

Michelle, what's the latest on your sister & fam?

Talked to them today... they are home in Houston/Clear Lake.... VERY eerie they say... they have electric and it is coming on little by little each day... Gas is hard to find and the one station that she goes to was rationing and they had security guards there... food is coming back in also a little at a time. Dry goods were no problem, but finally yesterday they got Dairy... they expected Meat today... School is still called until the 29th.

Brian said the eeriest thing is to realize that all the debris that is on the side of the roads...used to be in the MIDDLE of the roads...

Oh no, she said the word 'greek'. Looks like a gyro salad is called for at dinnertime!

Yes, Oroweat is the same out here, I'm going to look for them also, as I'll need things on hand for weekends.

Deb, I did sort through my BistroMD stuff, looks like they threw in an extra plain oatmeal :confused3 and they gave me a whole box of the hot chocolate, which I ASSUME I'm only supposed to use the ONE on this weeks menu and the others may be for the future. :confused3 I'm already sad that I'm not getting one of the weekend meals (pork loin) but I know it will show up on another rotation. Can't wait to try the talpia, it's one of my favorite fishes :fish:

I have the pork loin from a previous week.....I haven't eaten it yet and I got a substitute for the Tilapia because I don't eat fish.

I like the nutrition bars and the protein chips. I only like the chocolate shakes. I have not even tried the hot chocolate yet. They gave me a lot so I threw some out and only kept a couple. Wait until you try some of the frozen snacks like the strawberry cheesecake and the blueberry swiss roll.....very good. I don't eat them according to the menu. I save them for when I'm craving sweets and they are good.

Some things you will like, some you will not. You can always let them know what you don't like and they will substitute.

Well I'm going to try to get the kids to bed  I'll be back in a few minutes.

I kissed a girl is your ring tone when you call Venetia , Gaylean! Guess she'll have to change it!

The cable saga ...

The Comcast installer showed up at 8:10 PM. He looked around and asked me if I had cable service (one might think that Comcast would have some inkling as to whether I am a customer or not).

I told him no, I have Direct TV.

Turns out he has to come back tomorrow. I told him I want this done at 2:00 PM because I work in the morning.

So there goes my Sunday, shot.

What surprises me is that I'm a new customer. This does not portend well.

Unfortunately, my AT&T DSL is horrible and S L O W. It ironically became slower when I upgraded to a "Pro" line. I have found that talking to AT&T is similar to trying to teach a pig to sing, you waste your time and it annoys the pig.

What has happened to service?

I take that back, I actually have typically experienced really good service with Direct TV.

So ... I guess no drives tomorrow and no Costco.

Poop.

.

I HATE when I have to schedule the DSL guy or the DirecTV guy to come to the house. They take forever to get there.....they confuse me by asking questions that I can't answer and I end up calling John......they have to be watched so that they don't steal your equipment......(I had that happen once by DirecTV guys)......and they always use your telephone for a long long time. bah humbug!

Mine is "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" but it's not loud enough for me to hear it... oh well...

Now the awesome news. Tyler's dad told me that yesterday, after being the first time doubling the morning dose, Tyler had a really good day! :cool1: There was a minor incident in the afternoon, but not enough to warrant a frowny face on his daily report card, just a flat mouth.

His teacher created a system for him last week to try to work on 2 issues, 1. raising his hand and not disrupting the class, and 2. keeping hands and feet to himself. She gives him a green index card with each of the 2 categories listed on both sides. One side is for the morning and one side is for the afternoon and the "report" consists of either a smiley face or frowny face. She has one popsicle stick for each category and each stick has 3 velcro pieces on it, so he gets 3 chances to keep his smiley for each category. Each time he has trouble, she takes one velcro piece off the appropriate stick. As long as he still has at least one velcro piece left at the end of the morning or afternoon he gets a smiley face report. For the first time ever, on Friday he almost had ALL 4 smilies and the 1/2 way face was only for a "minor incident". Not sure what, but it's not significant enough for her to give details, so that's good!

Anyway, FINALLY, a great day at school! His dad filled me in on all the details when he dropped him off after the game. :yay:

See, he REALLY WANTS to be good. He just needs the right level of meds to help him out. Great Going Tyler. We're all proud!:dance3: :dance3:

Here's my cute little Spartan fan, returning home after his first football game:

NICE!!!

HELLO, I'm back! It was really fun and exciting and now I'm SUPER wired and I can't even imagine how the girls feel, not to mention that my hearing isn't the same as it use to be. So Miley Cyrus is SOOOO cool and I can't believe I didn't start listening to it earlier. We had really good seats in the orchestra that were like 10 rows away from her. There were only like maybe 1000 people there. There were so many empty seats, it was amazing! She actually came into the audience and said "I'm SOOO getting in trouble for this". We could have touched her. She spoke a lot too so it made her seem real somehow. The only problem was that there was so few people there that I think the girls didn't dance as hard as they would have if there would have been other girls dancing around them. I danced enough for all of us :goodvibes

YEAH Gaylean!......YEAH Miley! I'm so glad you had a good time. I can't believe there were a lot of seats available.

I kissed a girl is your ring tone when you call Venetia , Gaylean! Guess she'll have to change it!

No I still like it. And it does suite me a lot better since the only girl's night outs I get are with little girls :lmao: :lmao:

And they were so lucky as compared to most.....it's just aweful.

I'm glad they're back home and that they are all ok.
