Well good morning to everyone 2 feet or 4/

We are packing up to go to...wait for it....of course....a race.

This is the night race tonight that is a make up for the race that was rained out for Willie's bday. Then tomorrow is a regularly scheduled race, so it is a long race weekend. I hope things get better for Paul, he is having a hard time with getting things to work well for this race. It took him 2 hours to get Wil's engine mounted (should take 15 minutes) and then it wouldn't start, he finally got it to start after changing the carb out (again) that was last night, this morning the electrical isn't working in the trailer, either the solor panel is not working or it was left on and drained, so now he is trying to charge it with an electrical connection. He uses the electrical for his air compressor at the track to inflat tires (& more) I hope this isn't the way of this weekend or it will be sad at our pit for sure.

we leave in 1/2 hour so I need to shower and pack up.

thanks for the good luck, I'll tell Willie and Holly my cold is gone. It sure took a long time more than 2 weeks, darn thing. i think it helped going to Disneyland

John and I just finished having coffee and our morning weekend chat.

He's ready to get up and start the day and he's laughing at me because I have all this packing to do and I'm just sitting here playing the monkey kick game trying to beat Marilyn's high kick......which I did successfully, by the way.

Now John is gone.....he ran out to do some errands.....and I'm here dising.

Hi Shannon, I thought about what you asked me in reference to the weeping leg.....I started drinking water all day and night when I began this diet. That was right after mom's first anniversary of her death. So, I would say around the first week in August. That would put it at just over six weeks ago. The weeping has been going on for over a year now. But you did have a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

For some reason the right leg swells more than the left does. The initial wounds on the right leg were worse than the left also.

After John cleaned and dressed the leg last night, it stayed dry up until about an hour ago. Now it's soaked again. Oh well!

The left leg doesn't get wrapped anymore and stays dry! That's great! One down and one more to fix.

Deb, I'm fine, I'm just grumpy about being here on a Saturday. But I love what it will do to my paycheck, plus staying over a bit yesterday and the day before.

I don't have a set time to go home (or come in) today, since it's extra, I just work whenever I want. I'm just emailing our office manager when I got here and will when I leave as a way to prove to her what time I was actually here. I was planning on leaving at 2 because I want to look for a couple new outfits for the new job because I think they're not as casual as my current employer ( I can wear t-shirts and my Crocs here). And I need to sew Tyler's patches on his tiger scout shirt before he gets home. And I want to mow my front yard too. I think I'm done mowing the back yard this year. It could stand to be mowed, but I doubt it will grow anymore this late since we've been so cold and dry.

Oh, I forgot to finish that thought.....I had originally planned on leaving at 2, but I'm not yet as far as I thought I'd be with getting this work done. My goal was to completely finish the work I was behind on for when the vacationing secretary comes back on Monday. I just feel she shouldn't have to do my stuff that I couldn't get done. I think I'll be done at 3. Will shop for clothes later in the week when Tyler again goes to his dad's, and will still have time to mow the front yard today I think.
