When I'm on WW I don't drink much of anything with points. I might if it is a party. Drinking your points away is not a smart move in my book.

I figured that if I really wanted to, I could have 16 shots of tequila for my 35 optional points.

Another bad day for Tyler, one of a few this week, but this was the worst. On Tuesday, they were about to call me to have me remove him from school when I showed up to take him out anyway for his appointment. Well, his dad called me tonight to tell me today was even worse. He was so violent in the classroom, destroying property and hurting kids, they sent him to the office because he kept running away when they tried to talk to him to calm him down and/or put him in time out. The principal called his dad to have him talk to Tyler and told his dad if he's not able to get Tyler to calm down, he'll have to leave school for the day. It worked somewhat, he was still tough to deal with the rest of the day, but at least not destructive after the morning issues. This is not looking good. The principal said something will have to happen if Tyler keeps this up. It's last year all over again. His dad and I both agreed we don't know what the heck to do. But I did forget to mention to his dad that he started getting teased this week about his last name, so that could be a factor in all of this, I don't know. I did tell his dad we'll see what happens next week, but if things are the same, we'll have to call the Dr. and see what he thinks. This time his med check isn't until 6 weeks instead of 4.

Well there is those days where you would rather drink than eat :lmao: I usually don't worry too much about points on Friday and Saturday. I might eat and drink a little less. If you eat less just once a week you're going to lose something. It may be slow but it will happen.

OK, I'm falling asleep sitting here. I'm out. Calling it a night. Will be here to play all day tomorrow though, until 5pm when I pick up Tyler! :yay:

Maybe try a day or two there before your next cruise? You don't HAVE to spend as much money as on a cruise. My cruises usually cost about $3k for me and John to do a seven night with a verhanda. I'm going to World now for about $1.5k for me and John for 6 nights, including the rental car. It's doable!

What cruise were you on? We paid 5000.00 for an inside room. I know we have the kids but I thought the third and forth were cheaper.

The meds just help him to be able to make some changes.....they can't do it for him. Obviously, if the kids are older and meaner and they make fun of him (like all kids do at that age), then no amount of meds are going to help him. He has to learn to channel his feelings and turn them into positive energy and not destructive. It's not going to be easy, but he needs to take responsibility and learn to do it anyway.

Poor Tyler. It's so unfair that it's so hard for him. I would not wait. I would call the doctor immediately and see what he says. He may want to adjust the doseage.

Barnes. I'd never think he'd get teased for it, but I guess it's true that kids will find ANYTHING to tease about! A girl started it by saying, "HA HA, Tyler Barnes, lives in a barn!" I told him to say, "HA HA, you don't!" :rotfl2: It's such a stupid response, it might confuse her enough to shut her up for a minute!

But, my best friend's 6th grade son told me the solution is simple. She likes him. Apparently it start that young. I had no idea. Good grief, I'm not ready for this drama.

When Tyler and I did a veranda on a 7 night it was $3000 for us too. My coworker told me she refused to do the Tortola cruise because it was too much more than what she's used to paying for her and her husband because it was going to be $3000.

They get teased for everything. Brooke's friend gave her a dress that she LOVED and she wore it today. Another girl came up to her and said "Katie had that dress last year and now you have it". I never even thought to worry about hammy downs at this age. I think she only wore it a few times because she didn't like the way it felt. I feel so bad for Brooke because she really likes it :sad2:

Oh, these aren't older kids, they're kids in his class. I just think he needs to learn to find other ways to deal with things. I have no idea how to teach him other ways, since these issues only happen at school, but we constantly talk about it and we constantly try to talk about other options for his anger. He just forgets in the heat of the moment.

I looked at that one and it was over 5000.00 for us in an inside room.
