Good Morning Mammalians!

I am so happy that it's Friday. I was very pleased yesterday to learn that it was Thursday. I thought it was Wednesday.

I have been so busy this week that it has reached a level where it's is absolutely absurd.

I no showed at 3 meetings because of a crisis with software releases, I also have our intranet going live on Monday.

At 7:30 AM I thought about getting a cup of coffee and finally at 4:00 PM had enough time to walk the 20 feet to the canteen to get one.

However, at last the weekend is here.

Grocery shopping tonight, and Comcast is coming late tomorrow afternoon to install the cable internet line.

Welcome to my world.....that's how I felt all through growing up!!!!!

Every class I had from kindergarden to graduation, there was always 4 to 6 Debbie's in the class. My mom told me that the year I was born, every girl was named after Debbie Reynolds......including me.....how original!

I am only one at School, college.

But my good friend Lisa and her name is all over now

my neighbour Lisa, speech therapy Lisa. Olivia talked about Lisa I had asked her which Lisa.

then on Cruise lots lots of Lisa

My friend called Debra and Debbie

My neighbour both called me Debbie I told them no Deborah but they still called me Debbie huh.

Oh thank you and I will be leaving soon and come back on Sunday night.

I was busy packing (last mins) not like me

I am looking forward to get away but very nervous to drive to Glasgow as it is very busy road.

Just go slow and take it easy. Take deep breaths to stay calm. You'll be fine.

My friend decide to meet me half way today that is good, nice of her offer.

Deb, if you are going away soon - have a lovely holiday.

Thank you so much Deborah, I'm leaving on Wednesday night.....so not yet. Good thing, I'm not packed yet either.

I have had many days like that when I used to work for a living. Glad you're over it after today.

My mother named me Debra, but growing up I used Debbie with my maiden name. Now I use Deb with my married name. You can see why I've always been confused!

I'm worried about being called to jury duty today. My group of numbers is next on the list and I have to check in between 11-noon today. Fingers crossed.

I also hand over my last client today, so that will be the end of my work Offically. That means my ebay business of cleaning out the garage starts the next day, joy and sorrow...sorrow and joy

I would want to have YOU on a jury if I were on trial--but then, I don't participate in the behaviors that lead to arrests, jail and trial anyway, so I guess you are pretty safe there.....

Hand over clients??. What happened? Must have been in the pages I skipped.

Sorry you have had such a stressful busy week. I hope after the shopping trip tomorrow, and typing a report about it for us all here, you get to relax and get some much needed rest.

Well, he did play around for a bit longer. He did reasonable in his school exams and took a couple of college courses in travel and tourism before deciding at 19 to train to be a teacher!!! He graduated when he was 23.

After a couple of years he wanted to leave, but has been teaching for 11 years now.

I bet he is a great teacher!!

He understands the kids who have trouble sitting still and whose minds wander!!!

Always seemed unfair to me that little girls who sit still, enjoy school and don't understand the kids who can't, grow up to be teachers and still don't understood these little boys.

YAY Holly!! I hope the office manager's head spun around when you told her you were quitting I'm sure Tyler will be fine for a couple of extra hours in the after-school program, and I hope the new environment is much better for you. I've worked in a couple of law firms with TERRIBLE environments, so I know the stress and annoyance it can cause.



Hey Deb You sound so excited for your upcoming trip. I can't believe we have to wait another 7 months before ours, but I keep telling myself to be patient! Olivia is really excited about getting a baby brother, though it was tough to convince her it was a boy after we found out his gender. Now she's completely protective of Baby Salvatore. She took a bunch of her old toys and put them in a bin for him and anytime we're in a store with baby things she asks if we can get things for Baby Salvatore. It's cute. At the same time, she's become REALLY clingy with me, because I think she suspects what's coming once the new baby arrives. My due date is 1-1-09 (new years baby), but the doctor is saying he'll probably come a couple of weeks early, since Olivia was three weeks early.
I'm glad you're feeling better. I went through a depression period earlier this year, and it was tough. *hugs*

Since you asked about pictures, I'll share one of Olivia from earlier this week. She's grown so much!

PRECIOUS GIRL!!

You may find that she continues to be fine with the baby if you continue including her in the care-giving. She can HELP take care of him by bringing diapers or bringing a book and holding it so you can read to the baby (and her) during feedings, etc.

Slip some sour cream and butter ( I use margarine because I like the taste better) in there too and some garlic salt. I use sharp cheddar.

IMHO cheese is a food group all to it self!!!! I will put it on/in almost any thing.
Love twice baked potatoes, just wish I had the time to make some of the things I Love to eat

Hi everybody! Thanks for the birthday greetings I had a nice birthday. Ken was in PG the last couple of days, so it was just me and the girls this morning and for the first while after work. Last night, Shaelyn wanted me to wake her up first, so then she could wake up Kaleigh and they could come wish me happy birthday. After work, the girls and I went and bought a cake and they picked out candles to put on it (yellow ducks and happy face ones ) They picked out a gift bag and tissue paper so they could wrap the present they had bought me when we got home. Kaleigh has been doing so good all week keeping the secret, but on the way home she blurted out "I get to put the slippers in the bag" Shaelyn was annoyed, but I just told her its okay Mommy wasn't listening. And now its been a nice evening chatting with Ken in person and instead of a few minute chat on the phone

It sounds like you had a special birthday It sounds a little more relaxing than Mother's Day!
