Head is still pounding, will try to lie down some more. I hate doing that because I know it's boring for Tyler, since I'm sure he would enjoy going out to do something during our extra day together. But he'll be happy watching a couple episodes of "Flipper" from the DVD we borrowed, and I'll tell him we'll go do something right afterwards. Something not noisy today and that doesn't take much energy. Probably the MIchigan Historical Museum, which he loves so much, or maybe a tour of our capitol building. :thumbsup2 Yesterday we spent most of the day at our zoo, including taking our lunch with us to have a picnic inside! It was such a beautiful and fun day. Great day for a picnic and we were laughing at the camels who kept making funny noises while we ate! ;)

Sorry this migraine is being stubborn Holly. I hope soon you get the other meds you are waiting for.

Sounds like Tyler is having a great few days with you, so a couple of hours quiet won't spoil that for him.

He did a great job of being quiet while I was laying down and now we're headed out to the museum. Head still pounding so I'm moving very slowly, but will get through the day and and rightafter karate, he goes to his dad's and I'm going to bed after that.

Does anyone know where I left my keys???

I even asked St. Anthony and it's a no go this time... :confused3

Hmmm....I lose my keys all the time. In fact, as we speak I have no idea where they are. I keep meaning to buy some big, ugly keychain that would make it impossible to lose. But then I forget to do that, kinda like I forget where the keys are...:confused3

Lisa...

it IS on a big ugly keychain... :lmao:

Sometimes you have to be there to truly enjoy the pictures ;)

Holly - great pics and cute videos!:) Good luck with the job interview if it turns out to be what you want. :goodvibes Sounds like grade 1 is off to a good start for Tyler!:thumbsup2

Jill - wow! are you going to be busy!

Try the back of the toilet. That's where I left my the other day :rotfl: :rotfl:

good luck Shannon!!!

& thanks for the toilet suggestion;)

Have you tried burying St. Joseph upside down in your yard? You keys may show up, considering that people in Chicago claim that that works if you want to sell your house.

How can you sell your house if you can't find the keys?

By the way, while on the subject of saints, this is one of my favorite books, it's hysterical:

http://www.amazon.com/Saints-Preser...bs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1219833502&sr=8-1

FOUND THEM!!!!

They were in my Poly sweatshirt pocket... :yay: :yay: :yay:

funny thing is... I asked St. Anthony and he always comes through...it may not be right away and he usually makes you work for it...

So I went out to my car last night to look... no keys...

Came back inside and went to bed...

At 2:30 am I had this sensation (I usually get them with St. A...) Go back to the car he says... I sat upright in bed... dragged my behind out, threw on some warmer clothes and shoes... went out to the car and found...

I had left the lights on in the car... :scared1:

Nice call St. A... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Now if he could just find my stitching that I took on the ship with me... :confused3

HEY!

If/when DCL cruises to Alaska, if they sail out of Seattle......we can all meet at Kaylee's house! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

.

What a way to tell her!!!

Kaylee we're comin to your house... :goodvibes

Phew, good thing I decided to try and skim posts this am:lmao: :lmao:
Sounds like a plan to me....we have lots of room for guests!!!! :thumbsup2

I have a feeling that DCL will sail out of LA to AK though....I think it would just be too strange to have DCL cruising from here...but I would LOVE it if they did!

Happy Hump Day!

OK, so, who's looking forward to the long weekend (in the US) and what do you have planned?

Sukie is working a couple of days this weekend and so am I.

I am subbing a meeting early on Saturday morning, the good thing is that it's about a 5 minute drive (I could walk, but I'm simply not that energetic at 6AM), and I have my normal 3 meetings on Sunday morning.

So, no big plans for us, plus Sukie is in a tizzy about getting his columns written prior to our going away next week.

What does everyone else have planned?

.

Its a long weekend for us too :cool1: We're planning to tackle getting the brick facing off the kitchen wall  It will not be fun, but it will be good to see it gone!

Same old thing, Wilson has another race. It's supposed to be in the 100s this weekend, which means 105+ up there so I'm not sure Molly and I will go. We like the AC at home.

And about mirgraines

I was reading magazine called Woman's Own -

Suzanne Shaw : Botox beat my migraines

The Dancing Of Ice star, 25 tried an unusual approach to treat her headaches.

When Suazanne Shaw began to get throbbing headaches and nausea in 2006, she took drastic action ' I was getting really bad migraines with nosebleeds that came on suddenly', she says.

Her GP suggested Botox, thought to reduce muscle tension that can trigger mirgraines. It sound good, but Suzanne worried about side effects, I had it in my forehead and I thought, "Now apart from once on stage when couldn't frown, her fears weren't realised. And the treatement cured her migraines.

I had a Dr. that offered this to me once. I decided that I didn't want the foreign stuff in my body. I hear it works, but it creeps me out.

So wish me luck I just signed up for BOOT CAMP! It starts after the wedding, so I can eat cake, or donuts, or whatever...

::yes:: just like the army, gosh I hope it's not that bad...

Boot camp - yes, sounds like those camps for delinquent teens!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

I need this kind of motivation, ya know.:lmao: :lmao:

I got my email to log in and I can work on the website prior to the class, so who knows maybe I'll get off my hinnie and get healthy. I suppose there are worse things.

One of the things they ask you not to drink during the program. Seems odd to me. If you can't enjoy your normal lifestyle, (for me a drink every 1-2 weeks, not every day) then what is the point.

We'll see I'll keep ya posted on my progress or if I go AWOL :scared1: :lmao: :lmao:

Well Nan, we wish you all the best. Wish I could get motivated. I just want to wake up in the morning a lot thinner!!!:rotfl2:

I come on here and you guys are talking about boot camp :scared1: Nan, you need to do what is going to keep you on the program, even if that means a drink now and then. Drinking slows down your metabolism while it is in your system but if you are exercising more than before and eating less, you will see results.

Brooke is fine now. She woke up this morning with no fever and no pain in her throat or tooth. I never took her to the dentist because she wouldn't see her while she had a fever.

TV is boring here in the summer and for some reason TV doesn't start when the kids go back to school. There are very few shows I like anyway because I like sitcoms and all we have is crime shows and reality shows. I did watch more movies this summer than I ever have.

My friend invited us for food and drinks this Friday and we are going to a party Saturday so that should be fun.

The weather is hot this week. Probably the hottest all summer. How is it there?

So pleased to hear Brooke is ok now.

Well, the weather is warming up nicely!!! Going to be hot at the weekend. Of course, most of the children go back to school on Monday, so this usually happens!!!

Our tv improves in the autumn!!!
