I love all the lizards here in Florida - some are so tiny and cute! We do have a few frogs living in the little patch of plants outside our front door.

Have you got everything unpacked and settled in? I'm a stereotypical wuzz when it comes to reptiles and amphibians, but I do adore the little lizards at WDW, they are so tiny I can't be afraid of them

Oh, I haven't done THAT in at least 10 years! The closer I get to 40, the farther away from that point I try to stay. It takes me so long to recover, that's why I can only do this on Fridays! I had ONE beer right after work yesterday with co-workers and I was hungover until 11am today! Yup, I'm getting older!

A little I still need to clean her room and I just remembered that I bought candy for the goody bags but I didn't buy the bags. She usually picks a theme for her cake but this year she wanted me to make cupcakes so I completely forgot the other stuff that goes along with the theme

It was funny at work today - I'm all excited to have 24 hours at home ALONE and my co-worker is all sad because her daughters gone camping with grandparents and she is missing her so much. I felt a moment of guilt that I'm not missing my children, but then gave myself a mental smack and said no guilt enjoy ME time and then tomorrow time it'll be back to Family time

Michelle - what races were you at ?

I spent the day at the VERY real Saratoga Springs Historic Racecourse!!! (it's over 100 years old...) It is sort of the Kentucky Derby of the north... I live 20 miles away from SS (not the resort although Ian insists that SS got the idea from DISNEY!!! ) We only have a 6 week racing season...tomorrow is the Travers stakes... Mary Lou (Vanderbilt) Whitney has her charity ball on Aug 1st every year (I NEVER get invited... ) We go to the backyard area of the course, camp out with our chairs and coolers and hang out with all the rest of the beautiful people!!!

Wait till you catch up to my post about the stink in the air in Lansing and East Lansing! Your post fits perfectly!

Mostly, we're down to all the little bits and pieces you just don't know what to do with but don't want to throw out cause then you'll need whatever the mystery thing was. Oh and we haven't unpacked any books - waiting until after we get our new bed and find a sofa to decide where to put all the bookshelves and we figure they will be much easier to move if they are still empty.
