Yes, only 6 nights onboard, and much more formal. I'm worried about all the weight I will put on in the 5 or so weeks in the US before the cruise. Do I take formals 1 or 2 sizes bigger than the size I am when I fly out?

Some nice things there. I might have a look at the ones in Florida. I think Winter Park and Lakeland ar the closest.

Hello. How are you? It sounds like everyone has a hard day around now. I like August too but only because it is summer. I actually like July better because in August it is almost over!

anyway, we had been struggle with money when back from holiday last May. We realised that everything go up and pay not enough raise too. but managed pay off for Tenerife. Ian said no more holiday next year and try saving up for 2010. Hope you come along in 2010

Well kids, my raise was NOT in this paycheck...seems the BIG boss only signed the paperwork this week. So two weeks from now I'm going to have about 10 weeks of retroactive raise $ (include some at overtime rates). JUST in time for a trip to Disneyland. Not that it's all that much money, but extra pocket $ for a road trip is always a good thing. Plus, I may get a $70 check from the insurance company (for my co-pays) by then. PLUS, I get to ride in Cheri's new car! Can't wait.
Oh, I'd better be careful, don't want to 'wish away' Ian's FAVORITE MONTH!

We probably would have still done an excursion anyway as it was good to get off the ship after being at sea(inc PC) for 4 days. Sounds like it was a safer option to go on an excursion than just walk around.

It doesn't matter where I am - even over here - I hate being approached by vendors/collectors etc when I am out and about.

Harrogate can be a pain. We have groups of those 'charity' collectors who come up all happy chatty to try and get your credit card details. I know charities use them but they are a real nuisance day in and day out. Then there are 3 big Issue sellers. Some are great but others not so good. Even if I buy one I have to fend them all off every day. Sometimes there are other 'market research' folk, some who are valid and some who just try a survey to get your name and email for a timeshare company and you then get phonecalls later telling you you are such a lucky person as you have won a holiday!!!

I'm always polite and smile as I realise they are all trying to earn a living, but it does annoy me that you can't just wander around without being bothered.

Thought I would add that the Big Issue is a newspaper/magazine type weekly publication issued and sole by homeless people in a regulated way. It has helped many people to get off the streets.

giving a credit card number to a stranger on the street?? Sounds like a perfect recipe for identity theft!

What would happen if people called the charities involved and said they would not contribute until that harassment ended?

I have been in a good mood!! Frank is all better...I have been at the beach 4 weekends in a row.....Daniel is still home from school......and I have been trying very hard not to let my mom get under my skin!!!
