We are home and I skimmed the thread, sorry to far back to totally catch up.

Some get wells and take cares to Carol, Deb & Monica along with a  sorry if I've missed anyone else.

We are so lazy today watching tv is all we have done. okay breakfast and tv. okay and a shower. okay and booted up my desk computer checked my work email and opened my bills and filed the junk mail and checked the DIS. That sounds a little more productive. I'm tired now, going to watch some more tv....:happytv:

Just a quick post while Tyler's in the bathroom, before we head to the fair. When I picked him up from his dad's, of course, stepmom stomped down the hall again to get away from me. :lmao: Dad was super nice, and told me he had great days at school, TWO DAYS IN A ROW (actually 4 because Tues and Wed were great too)!!!!!! And he's not been irritable and angry at home either while he was at his dad's!

Sounds like we found the right drug, but I'd hate to get excited prematurely.

Oh.....remember his dad telling me after 4 days of the med, "it's making him sit and gaze into space before bed" when he was trying to tell me it's making Tyler too sleepy? Well, he told me today Tyler seems to be having trouble falling asleep. I told him, "Well, he might not need as much sleep as he used to, so we might try bumping his bedtime an hour later". I told him I'll try that the days he's at my house and let him know how that goes. :thumbsup2 But he told me that's the only complaint he has and that he's really happy with what he saw this week overall. :goodvibes

It's so hard not to say, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!"

OK....so we both (Suki & I) will be celebrating #60 in Tortola...although he's two months OLDER than I.

.

OK, so I'm the one that needs a smack. I mentioned to Sukie that he'll be turning 60 on the cruise. He informed me that he's only 4 years older than me and will be 57 this year.

Ooops!

ooops is right, buster! Although, I, personally, see NOTHING wrong with turning 60.......ahem.......

Well, I'm feeling a bit unloved. They closed my Disney Store and my neighborhood Weight Watchers meeting hall. Must be WW can't afford the rent, for most of the meeting places I could find on line were in churches and the like. Funny, my spot was on the web site earlier this week....but not today! :confused3

Hey Nan, Is THIS how you're feeling???

So far, I have been offered the opportunity to:
  • Become buffed
  • Have the body of a 20 year old guy (I'm not exactly sure the context in which this was meant)
  • Meet sexy men over 40
So, I still struggle with the point.

Sign me up for this one!!!!!:thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OK, I'm going back to where I left off last night and try to catch up...TTFN

Late night drive by....

We are beat... Had a good couple of days the full story to come when I'm home on the couch.

Short story, Wilson finished 10th That's 10th in the Nationals (so 10th in the country) (well you get the point) It was a drama filled race as there where lots of errors with the flags and Willie missed his checkered flag and had to come off of pit row to lap it again and take the checkered.

He drove well, the girl that usually takes 1st in his region came in 5th. And if you recall he usually places 5th in the region, so it really makes sense that he placed at 10th for the nationals with her at 5th.

We have uncovered some issues lack of confidence in over taking people on corners and fear of sliding out and also the "we don't use our brakes rule" is now in place, that and always do an extra lap for your mama and when they ask you why you tell them about the time when you were racing kid karts at the Grand Nationals....

This weeks events will be the stories that Wilson tells his kids and grandkids one day so for that I'm happy it all turned out well...

Here is the link of the local news cast for the event.

Tomorrow we are headed to Hearst Castle for a family day of fun. Tonight we enjoyed a side trip to Solvang (we missed it the other day, due to a fire at our hotel) hey we made the news twice in one day in Santa Maria and these people don't really even know me :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Michelle did you call ahead to warn (rat me out) them????

Congrats Wilson :thumbsup2
Hope you all enjoyed your family day :goodvibes

I should mow my yard, it really needs it, but the other yards look to be the exact same height as mine, so I'd hate to throw off the symmetry. I'll wait until other start mowing theirs.

Off to go read or play monopoly or nap! :goodvibes

I like your reasoning Holly :lmao: Wish I could use the same reasoning here  My yard definately needs mowing, especially after the couple of nasty rain/thunderstorm days we've had here. But there's no way I can handle the lawn mower quite yet. My wrist surgery was a week ago, but I think it will be at least another couple of weeks before I can tackle the yard. I am resigned to the fact it will look like it did when I got back from our cruise

Well, you have a real reason not to mow. You just keep taking care of that wrist so you can be in tip top shape soon!

Holly, still trying to catch up, as usual  ...but sounds like Tyler is doing well on his new meds? :thumbsup2

Well, we were at the fair from 6-10:30pm. I can't believe Tyler stayed up that late! Usually if we're out somewhere way past bedtime, no matter how exciting a time he's having, he'll tell me when he's too tired to go on. Not this time. GREAT FUN! He did crash on the way home and only made it as far as the couch, but that's OK. He can sleep there. Whenever this happens, he usually falls off at some point during the night and finds his way to his bed. ;)

I got my elephant ear and cotton candy! Yummy! That was after riding about 20 rides and a few games and a pony ride, just on our way out. We loaded up with sugar and headed home. :cloud9:

The fair isn't as yucky as it was when I was a kid and actually costs less than it did back then. The only thing that's worse about it now is seeing the guys in their striped jail uniforms cleaning all over. That's a bit creepy, but overall it's way cleaner and better ride operators than when I was younger. :thumbsup2

Surprisingly, yes! :goodvibes Even his dad admitted the same. I asked Tyler how he feels about having 4 good days in a row at school and he only said, "Good." I don't think he really cares yet, but everybody else sure does. :thumbsup2
