Oh yes, I remember being that age myself. I loved to sleep half the day in the summer when school was out. My mom would get so mad at me because she'd call and call from work trying to get me out of bed to do something useful!

Good Morning from Bethany Beach!! I am sitting on the back porch again (same place I was last week!) Just Gretchen and I came down and we washed all the sheets and towels at the laundrymat yesterday. Then we went school clothes shopping!! We got some great deals!! She got like $250 worth of clothes at Aeropostle for $20!! She got a free pair of jeans at Limited 2 (long story) ... she got the cutest dance outfit at Under Armour for $10. She got 3 shirts at Hollister Outlet for $20....Then we came home and watched a rented movie, Surbarban Girl.

All in all we had a really fun day together!!

Now we are just chilling, but I need to go and finish the ironing.....all the bedding is ALL COTTON, so I need to iron the duvet covers!!

You always find such great deals! I need to shop with you! But I absolutely hate shopping. Yuck. Congrats on the great finds though!

A quick couple of posts while Tyler's changing clothes and I'm deciding what our lunch will be.

On the way to church we'd decided we'll go see Journey to the Center of the Earth, but after church, friends asked if we want to get together later and the kids really want us to come over so they can play at their house. I think the mom wants us to all go to Chuck E. Cheese though. I told her our tentative plan, and she says she'll call us later and see if we're free. So we might go to an early movie, right after lunch, or we might just plan on a later one after we do something with them. Or we might just save the movie for another day! Today is sort of a "wing it" day.

Now......to see about lunch. Later everybody!

Oh well. Lunch is now cooking and we'll watch the rest of "Twister" from this morning. Strange movie for a kid to like. It's the worst I've let him watch, but it's only bad because of the language. I made a comment in the past about how he can only watch it as long as I never hear him using any of the naughty words in it. He agreed and it's never been a problem. I think he's just more fascinated by the guys chasing the storms to even notice the bad words.

Off to read in bed and play Monopoly (I've had a serious Monopoly addiction that started about a week ago). Goodnight all!

Not hiding really, just haven't been on the boards as much. I am spending a lot of time house training the puppy and bunches of other stuff. I am having a procedure on Monday so I am getting the laundry done and cooking ahead so I can have some serious downtime for a few days. (I am having a D&C and a uterine ablation) Sorry if any guys are reading.

And yes, I am going on a cruise to Hawaii in December. I booked it a year ago when the dates were first released and just have a few months to go. When I booked it I was hoping to take my husband, but I didn't cancel because I think that we will be better if we can be away from home for the holidays. The cruise is over Christmas and New Years.

I don't play it with Tyler. It's loaded on my little Dell pda thingy, so I play it in bed before going to sleep, on my lunch hour at work (on the 2 days I actually take a lunch), and while watching tv when Tyler's gone. It's addicting!

I hadn't seen the trailer. I can already see that it's not quite like the book, but I'm looking forward to seeing it.

The second book, Inkspell leaves the story hanging a bit. I can't wait for the third book which is coming out in the fall.
