My niece, that is 19, hates going there but she got a gift card and she has to go because she is a struggling college student. She wasn't happy.

well back to work today....we really cleaned up this xmas.....
my mom got me another coach bag, coach wallet and wristlet and a dooney bag and wallet. perfume etc. the girls got a ton of stuff - too much. The hannah montanta guitars, the first season of HM, walle, sleeping beauty, horton hears a who dvds. a gazillion clothes! etc.

what was a hit with everyone else?

Hi V. Looks like you got some lovely things for Christmas. You forgot the puppies in the girls' list!!!

We did have a good holiday thank you. We didn't buy anything for each other as we are having lots of vacations this year. We also cut down on buying for some others, so our sum total for under the tree on Christmas Day was a box of luxury chocolates from a business supplier of John's!!! Had a book and a candle later in the day from our son and daughter in law, and some other bits from our daughter and other son on Boxing Day though.

I don't feel hard done by at all.

I have to know what Boxing Day is. Is about the boxes left over from Christmas?

By the way, I feel very, very special. There are now people in California who are suing to have my marriage annulled.

Go figure that I would be the center of the universe for the lives of these people.

To answer V's question from a couple of pages ago . . .

Not too elaborate a Christmas for us - we are going to WDW in Mid-January, so that is our present to ourselves.

I did get one of those Homedics massaging pillows with heat for my neck though, the perfect gift for me with all the family we have in town right now. Not quite like a visit to the Vista Spa though . . . I also got a copy of Barrack Obama's book, "The Audacity of Hope", and so far I really like it.

I got Amy a "Buddah Board" - if you don't know what that is, it is a white board that comes with a Summi brush, and you "paint" on it with water. It shows up as black brushstrokes, and when it dries, goes back to white. Very Zen.

For Sophia, it was an "American Girl" Christmas. She is up to five now Nan, that is if you count Biddy Baby. Lots of clothes and accessories too.

Alex wanted cash for car payments, so that is what he got. Then he went out and bought an X-box 360 on Craig's list.

We are also due to get a new car any day now. You can all thank me for the drop in gas prices, as about 6 months ago we ordered a Ford Escape Hybrid. It is due to arrive any day now, but I am betting it will wait until gas falls below $1 a gallon. We are done with the current lease, and are buying this one.

Thanks Gaylean. It doesn't make a difference, they are trying to get the 18,000 existing marriages annulled. That started last week.

I suppose that they have nothing better to do and see themselves as defending families.

I myself might suggest putting that energy into the economy, as I believe that unemployment might have a more negative impact on families than my marriage does.

I can't wait for someone to sue for THAT!!!
