I see everyone is at work, so I guess I'll get to work around here, too.

I have to pay bills and organize END OF THE YEAR stuff. .......oh, how I hate to do that! But it makes the NEW YEAR so much easier.

Patrick is getting his new wheelchair today......I'll take some pic's. It actually reclines a bit. That will be such a relief for his feet when we travel. Yesterday I took him to the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, only an hour's drive, and then we stayed for a couple hours and then came home again. He was getting VERY uncomfortable when we got home. He needs to be able to move around more. At least I can still get him up and moving around on his feet.

well back to work today....we really cleaned up this xmas.....
my mom got me another coach bag, coach wallet and wristlet and a dooney bag and wallet. perfume etc. the girls got a ton of stuff - too much. The hannah montanta guitars, the first season of HM, walle, sleeping beauty, horton hears a who dvds. a gazillion clothes! etc.

what was a hit with everyone else?

Hi V. Looks like you got some lovely things for Christmas. You forgot the puppies in the girls' list!!!

We did have a good holiday thank you. We didn't buy anything for each other as we are having lots of vacations this year. We also cut down on buying for some others, so our sum total for under the tree on Christmas Day was a box of luxury chocolates from a business supplier of John's!!! Had a book and a candle later in the day from our son and daughter in law, and some other bits from our daughter and other son on Boxing Day though.

I don't feel hard done by at all.

Sounds like our holiday, Marilyn. We bought little, nothing for each other. We got a couple of small things from Dennis' sis and her daughter since we spent the holiday with them. Sent CASH to our kids and grandkids. We are in Arizona today. Somewhere east of Yuma. We will stop mid state tonight around Casa Grande. Hope to be in Texas in a couple of days. I think we may spend a week in mid Texas and do day trips to San Antonio, Austin and San Angelo. Then on to the final Destination....Florida!

Its a quiet Monday up here. Weather is actually fairly warm. It was -8C (18F) this morning, and it wasn't snowing so that's great.

We had a fairly quiet weekend, had a few presents to return. Kaleigh got a Tigger game that she already had, so we returned it and let her pick something else. She ended up with a Mitchee and Shane Barbie set (From Camp Rock) for $10 and it had been $35 originally. They have been well used as the girls can play together. Other than that we watched some movies and played some games and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Now I'm at work and they are relaxing at home.

Its nice to see a bunch of posting happening over the holidays.

Michelle - are you enjoying your mom's TV?

Vanessa - what did you end up naming the dogs? Can they girls tell the dogs apart?

Least favorite stores implies that I shop there, doesn't it? I refuse to even enter the doors.

Oh doesn't it just make you so mad how they (anyone older than us) always think old is better....no matter what it is.

In my case right now it is the pharmacy....my mom makes me drive 60 miles roundtrip to her old pharmacist (CVS) instead of using the CVS walking distance from my house. My brother says I am totally nuts and I am letting mom run my life. I guess he is right.....

She's adjusting... she didn't have the TV on today when I got up... forgot she only had to hit POWER on the remote to get it started...

& Lisa... get the Rx's changed... tell her the other store closed...

Not personally, but I'm sure they had us in mind. I'm so flattered that they have nothing better to do than meddle in my life, but then again, that is the burden that goes along with being the center of the universe for these poor souls.

Holly, one of the boys in Z's class was a light saber for Halloween. It went over his entire body and lit up at night.

I told Tyler that before he went to sleep tonight and he said, "AWESOME!" That does sound really cool!

I'm so glad tomorrow is the last day of day care. When I got there to pick Tyler up today, I was told again that they were about to call me to pick him up because he'd just punched another boy in the stomach. The morning went fine because a different teacher was there and she knows to stick with him like glue (because she knows him from the summer child care). When the afternoon teacher came on, she had nothing but trouble. If he can just get through the day tomorrow, and be able to have fun at their New Year party, I'll be very happy. Then his dad is taking Wednesday off since day care ends tomorrow, then he starts the new school on Monday.

Finishes March or April or when we tire of it. We do miss home abit but we are having such a good time reconnecting with family and friends along the way. We have seen friends that we have not seen in over 25 years and some that we see every few years, We get to have dinner with Jackie tomorrow in Phoenix. We had planned just one night in this area, but we have fallen in love with the Sonoran Desert and will stay another day so we get to see Jackie tomorrow evening.

We don't know what the rest of the year will bring other than we are scheduled to camp on the OR coast for 8 days in early July and we hope to travel to Denver in August.

Well, Tyler's been sound asleep for a while, so I'm headed off to find something to watch on tv and do more laundry.
