Last night at the party I won a free day off! So I'm taking tomorrow off since I have a 9am Dr. appointment and will be in Scottsdale, shopping capitol of the valley. (no lump of coal, Ian)

We're aty the airport. 2+ hours delay as yet! We are in the lo9unge here, which is nice and peaceful, has internet access, but no food!! Drinks are free however. This is when I wish I was a heavy drinker.

Ian and Sukie ----- there are so many Smart cars on the roads these days here in Sarasota..... I swear, I feel like each one should say IAN or SUKIE across the hood, they so remind me of you both!

I am sure I asked you before - but do you both get to the taste of Chicago, I had a friend in college from there who so raved about it.

The irony is that it can't snow if it's too cold. It has to warm up to right around freezing 32F/0C for it to be able to snow.

Now, dear Ian,that is just a winter myth......it can snow at 0 degrees and below if there is enough moisture in the air.....it's just that the colder it gets, the less moisture is in the air. It just goes away! Although, in Chicago it seems that the heaviest snows DO come at about 30 degreees, I blame the lake!

hey guys - TOOO BADDDD some of you have snow - I am about to turn the air on, it's around 80 here.

so, I am excited about May, but our cruise meets is like none I have ever been on, guess it will help me slow down a little.

\Yeah, it's really rough around here, I wore long pants and real shoes to Epcot tonight, and by the time I got to the car, I was really sweaty!
Got home, and Chuck had the house closed up, it was 80 in the house! I opened up all the doors, and turned on the ceiling fans, It's much better now.....

By the way ... I'm sitting in the basement contemplating divorce.

I came home from work today, and Sukie was wearing ... leg warmers.

I shut the front door quickly and hoped the neighbors didn't see him.

I thought he might have been abducted by aliens and the leg warmers were clamped on him as a homing device, but he assured me that he got them in a store.

Rather, I should say he walked into a store and paid for them.

I don't know what to think.

When people get old, do they suddenly start craving leg warmers?

Who around here is old and feeble enough to ask?

I keep cracking up driving around town and seeing all the palm trees decorated with christmas lights......green, red, multi, white.....it's too weird to me.....evergreens and snow.....that's christmas to me.....no swimming or sunglasses on christmas day.

Yeah, but it's so much fun to decorate your house in your shorts and tank top! Got to start packing for our 4 days at Ft. Wilderness.....going to take our Mickey wreath, our multi icicle lights, a garland and our air blown Mickey!

Can't wait!

We like Hilton Head Island....it's beautiful here and the people are very friendly and helpful. It's nice.

well, now that the doors are open, it has cooled off a lot. It's only 60 degrees outside. I guess I'll close the doors and turn on the security alarm. and Go to BED!!!!! Been up since 6am! I worked at the Beach Club from noon to 6pm, and not a single guest came by to check in for their cruise....they were all over at the parks having fun! How dare they! And then I met 3 friends at the Candlelight Processional at Epcot....I have gone at least once every year since we moved here.....it is still moving! And so beautiful and well done! I always cry.......just a big baby.

Also went shopping.... all the Christmas hats and ornaments are 50% off! WOW!!!! I got the cutest Minnie Mouse Christmas headband. I look really dorky in it....I'll be wearing it every day until Jan 1 !!!!!

Not so. We haven't seen 30F here in days and it was only in the teens yesterday the whole time it was snowing. And we're supposed to get a foot of snow tomorrow night and it's not supposed to get above 23F. I have no idea how it all works.....Crazy stuff!

Anyway, I am the only person up right now.....

I'm here, I was just watching Survivor from last night.

I didn't get home until 9pm tonight because I was doing more Christmas shopping. I thought I was done, but remembered I'd forgotten Tyler's camouflage bathrobe. I ended up adding to his pile a camo bathrobe, 4 pairs of camo underwear, a camo shirt and pants outfit, a camo umbrella, and a camo Timex kids watch. He did say the other day the only things he really wants from Santa are camo things, so he's got it!
