Morning!! Just have internet for day, but will be off to DHS soon. thought I would manage a quick hi, but no time to read posts, so hope I haven't missed anything important.

Had a wonderful breakfast with Cherie, Monica, Ann and Albert yesterday. We sat and chatted for a few hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Popped to see Connie in the afternoon and hopefully we are eating together tonight.

The Toy Story Mania Meet on Sat night was fantastic. Worth staying up till 2am to book. We had such a lot of fun, and the food was great - fab fresh fruit of every kind and desserts. Only managed 4 rides as our arms ached sooooo much!!! But just walked on. Could have just walked on all 3 hours if we wanted!

Been a great trip and we have really enjoyed meeting everyone.

Should be on here again. We fly home tomorrow night, arriving Wednesday.

I got my Christmas bonus today!!!!!


This will be the first time I've ever used it on myself. All other years, I've used it for Christmas shopping. Now I can get my new COMPUTER! I hope to have time today, but will probably have to wait until tomorrow. Monday is our busy day with karate and occupational therapy for Tyler. OH well, what's one more day?

Congrats! Glad you got this and can get a better computer.

I hate leaving with Tom so newly living here. It'll be two weeks tomorrow. He will only be alone in the house from 3pm until 6pm....when he gets home from school until Uncle John gets home from work. The kid will stay in our house and sleep here while we are gone....just to keep Tom company at night. The kid usually sleeps here anyway to keep Angel and Ella from tearing down the house. Hopefully, Tom will get a job and start working soon. The interview at the mall is next week and they're not hiring until after Christmas and it's only a 10 hour a week job. Tom really needs more hours than that. The minimart gas station on the corner down the road from us had a help wanted sign so Tom filled out an application. Let's keep our fingers crossed that he gets this job because he can ride a bike to work afterschool and then we can pick him up when he gets off. This would be the best possibility. Let's see what happens.

I hope the crowds are better for you at DL tomorrow. Let us know how Its A Smal World looks now. I'm curious if there's noticable changes, or just fresh paint.

Some changes, but basically the same sweet ride. We love it, of course. It is all decked out for Christmas so it is different than it was in May.

Anybody want to see a $500 obituary???? ...

Michele, so, sorry. I have one of those step-sisters too.....his favorite.

I decorated skimpily this year. I put a wreath with Disney Character heads on it on the door of the condo. I got out a box of things we have taken to Disney World when we have been there for Christmas a couple times so there are two strings of lights with Disney characters covering the bulbs draped around the condo, a tiny tree, some Mickey and Minnie statues and stockings. That is it. We did not want to have a lot to put away after being gone for the bulk of the holiday week to see our kids.

We have put up no decorations in the MH. We are enjoying all the DL decorations though so we are not really deprived! We will probably put up the tree when we get parked at DrHug's sister's on Saturday.

Happy Monday everybody! Its freezing here -28C (-18F) this morning I don't like it when its this cold, but it made it easy to stay inside yesterday and decorate the house. We had a busy weekend trying to get all the Christmas decorating up, and always went to my work's kids xmas party at the gymnastic club. The girls had fun.

Good luck with your job review today, Ian! and I am not surprised to hear your WW review went well with all the effort you put into it.

hugs and love for Michelle I agree it looks funny when they put high school pics in the paper for people who are seniors.

Break Time is over, and now I'm back to work.

That is pretty nippy. It was at least 10 degrees (F) warmer here and I froze my butt off on the way to work.

Finally back home and warm.

It was brutal out there.

The weather has been flukey. It warmed up yesterday, to 52F, then rained at night, then the temperature dropped about 50 degrees. The result? The streets are covered in a thin layer of ice.

Now we get snow. We don't often have ice.

I think everyone did what I did this morning. Looked out the window and saw that it didn't snow and then left for work.

The result? Nobody spread salt. I walked a mile home on a layer of ice.

It was quite the talk in the office this morning. "Did you see that ice? Did you salt?"

"No, did you?"

I also had my performance review today.

It went very, very well. My boss evaluated me higher than I did on my self evaluation.

Hey Jan... a bit better today... My head still feels like it's full... just my sinuses... I still catch myself tearing up from time to time... but the initial part is passed... The NJ memorial will be good - lots of friendly people there for me to hide out with...

Oh and here... (It's on the bottom with the pets and "nature..."
