I'll mention it if it continues to happen, but won't if it ends up being a one-time thing. I think if it were related to one of the meds, it would have happened long ago when we first started. It could be same as mine was, weather related. I usually get one when there's a big weather change. We had a huge change from 20sF up to almost 50F right now, so that's most likely what caused mine and could be the same with him. Mine is gone except for a twinge now and then. I really think the preventative stuff is doing it's job because my migraines used to last a couple days, now it's almost never even a whole day.

I did not think Tyler's migraine was due to meds, just that knowing about it might give the MD another piece to the puzzle. Stuff we do not consider related sometimes are. That's all.

Nan: we are leaving Christmas Day. We will go to our church Christmas Eve and leave in the morning.

11 hour drive. Then we'll stay a week. I hope we can be a help in some way besides seeing them. :.

Lots of wind and rain. Too loud to sleep so I am DISing on the RAZ which is just noisy enough that DH got up to go sleep in his recliner chair

Either that or his sinuses are stuffy,,,,,,,but I don't think so

Maybe icy tomorrow--wish I was going to Florida

Gutten morgen, gansa velt (und Nan)!

It's 11F (the wind chill is -9F) this right now and we're going to hit a high of 18F today. The wait for the bus should be thrilling this morning, as should the mile walk home from the train this evening.

The Christmas Market was ok yesterday. It was really packed. Probably because it was 52F so it was warm and because we still so many shopping days from Christmas.

Sukie and I usually go on Christmas eve, when it is less crowded.

We also went to Macy's formally Marshall Fields.

I have not been to the State Street store for a while.

What a DUMP! What in the world did Macy's do? Marshall Fields was a really nice and classy store. Macy's has turned it into a dump. We didn't stay very long.

We were both a bit cranky. Sukie because he work late on Saturday night, on his feet the whole time, and me because I worked in the morning and was on my feet from 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

We're both quite looking forward to the quiet and calm of Christmas. Of all things, we've decided to do a 1000 piece jig saw puzzle together.

How low tech!

Today I get my annual performance review from my boss.

I can only imagine.

We had lots of rain and strong wind overnight too, still going on. I think we had a thunderstorm too. It was almost 50F when I went to bed and now it's in the 20s, so all the rain we had will surely freeze.

Morning!! Just have internet for day, but will be off to DHS soon. thought I would manage a quick hi, but no time to read posts, so hope I haven't missed anything important.

Had a wonderful breakfast with Cherie, Monica, Ann and Albert yesterday. We sat and chatted for a few hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Popped to see Connie in the afternoon and hopefully we are eating together tonight.

The Toy Story Mania Meet on Sat night was fantastic. Worth staying up till 2am to book. We had such a lot of fun, and the food was great - fab fresh fruit of every kind and desserts. Only managed 4 rides as our arms ached sooooo much!!! But just walked on. Could have just walked on all 3 hours if we wanted!

Been a great trip and we have really enjoyed meeting everyone.

Should be on here again. We fly home tomorrow night, arriving Wednesday.

Well, we leave for our Christmas luncheon in about an hour and 20 minutes! Nice to cut the day short. I wonder if we'll get our Christmas bonuses today!

I got my Christmas bonus today!!!!!


This will be the first time I've ever used it on myself. All other years, I've used it for Christmas shopping. Now I can get my new COMPUTER! I hope to have time today, but will probably have to wait until tomorrow. Monday is our busy day with karate and occupational therapy for Tyler. OH well, what's one more day?

Happy Monday everybody! Its freezing here -28C (-18F) this morning I don't like it when its this cold, but it made it easy to stay inside yesterday and decorate the house. We had a busy weekend trying to get all the Christmas decorating up, and always went to my work's kids xmas party at the gymnastic club. The girls had fun.

Good luck with your job review today, Ian! and I am not surprised to hear your WW review went well with all the effort you put into it.

hugs and love for Michelle I agree it looks funny when they put high school pics in the paper for people who are seniors.

Break Time is over, and now I'm back to work.

Hi Friends, it's been a very busy weekend....cleaning and decorating.....getting ready for hohoho! I'm packing today to get ready to head to SC tomorrow night after work. We're driving, of course. We'll arrive sometime Wednesday around noon. We're staying on Hilton Head Island and our room faces the ocean. YEAH!

It's going to be a full and busy weekend with my bro, his exwife Jane, my nephew Casey and of course, my nephew the Marine, Tristan. Jane called and emailed to say that Tristan finished the Crucible....a 54 hour event.....on Saturday morning. It's required for them to graduate boot camp and now they're officially Marines.

We have a meet and greet with other family members of the graduates at a local restaurant in Beaufort SC on Wednesday night. Then Thursday is family day on base. Friday morning is graduation. Then we get to hang out with Tristan for the rest of the day. Graduation is over around 10am. Saturday we check out and head home.

John can't believe all the fuss about boot camp graduation. He keeps saying I graduated Navy boot camp and no one did all of this for me. I keep telling him that it's for Tristan and you know GI Jane, as I like to call my ex-sis-in-law. She told me on the phone that she has already written letters to Tristan's drill seargent. I believe she does tend to get carried away. This should be a very busy weekend filled with military people and talk. I know nothing about the military, exept that John was in the Navy long before I met him.

The only thing I'm looking forward to.....other than the room on the oceanfront.....is seeing Tristan in full dress uniform. WOW! The little boy all grown up to be a man.
