oh, they also have a skateboard park too! Cool! I have a few pics for later, but too tired now to mess with it. Forgot to take pic of the skateboard park though.

Well, we survived last night. Me, just barely.

I didn't manage to fully fall asleep because I could hear shoes squeeking on the basketball court the whole time, until they stopped at 6am when everybody started leaving.

now do it with 5 preteens at a Shopping MALL :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Hopefully you learned that the experience is fun but it's okay to call it a night at 3am for the next one  It took me to events to lay that rule down :sad2:

Glad you guys had fun now go back to bed :cloud9:

Hey for the record, while watching the SJ Xmas Parade, I just saw a PINK Hummer Limo. So now I place my hat into the running to have the GNO...we can start in San Jose, party and then fly over to Deborah. Of course I'll have the Pink Hummer drive us to the airport the long way so we can enjoy it

Wow Holly, that sounded fun, but sooooo tiring!!! I must have missed that you were doing that as I skim read everything.

Guess you will both be napping on and off for the rest of the day.

Hi everybody. I haven't been on since US thanksgiving, so I'm way behind. Just made it from Ian's thanksgiving pictures up to page 100. Only 38 more pages to go later today.

Gaylean - congrats on passing your tests!

Deb - stay strong with the no smoking! you're doing great. You are a strong person for tackling no smoking, dieting, adding a 17yr old to your house! Wow!:worship:

Hi to everybody! Here's a quick update from Ken & I.

We've been busy. The kitchen is almost complete. Just needs a sink! I was happily putting things away in the new cupboards while Ken was working on stuff outside. Then he needed my help, so I had to head outside for a while. Here's a pic of me dressed for the snowy yardwork.:goodvibes

:rotfl2: I think you missed off the top 4 layers!!!:lmao:

Glad your kitchen is nearing completion. I am sure it will be worth all the hard work.

Back from my WW meetings and having lunch. I'm glad this morning is behind me. It was crazy.

I also had some other WW leaders show up for my 11AM meeting to see how I was handling the conversion and the information. That made me a bit nervous, but I was also really flattered that they came to see my "performance."

I also had Saturday members, because they did not want to wait a whole week to get the new info, plus I had a lot of lifetime members who came for the new plan.

It all went very well, but we were understaffed because it took longer to process each member because the member books are changed. Since we're a computerized center that entailed having to print out new bar codes, etc.

I'm glad I handled it as a getting started session, because even the long term members got a lot out of it and were really energized.

Now I can get on with the rest of my day!

Good Morning Starshine (and Nan)!

You all weren't nearly as chatty as I thought you would be overnight.

I'm a bit nervous about this morning, given that the new plan is launched today at the WW meetings, but I'm about as ready as I'll ever be.

When I get home, I'll be staying in. Sukie will be leaving for work in the late afternoon and I still have one remaining performance evaluation to write. But it's an easy one.

Nothing like procrastinating, huh?

Oh... I LOVE that song... :lovestruc

All 10 of us! Whoooo hoooo!

Canadians must be very hardy.

Speaking of hardy. I was 9F today on my way home, I saw a guy barefoot in flip-flops again.

Oh no, I remember when I did it as a kid, the goal was to stay up all night, so I want him to have that fun too. :goodvibes Next time I just need to be better prepared and drink more caffeine. :thumbsup2

Couldn't go back to sleep today, but we've not been doing much. Watched one of the many Star Wars movies, went to get our prescriptions refilled, did some Christmas shopping for 3 of Tyler's friends, ate Subway for lunch. Now home to rearrange furniture so we can put the tree up. Might decorate just the tree today and do our other decorations tomorrow. Have lots of laundry to do too. Definitely going to bed early tonight! :cloud9:

Cheech and Chong were awesome! Like they were never apart for all these years! Their timing was perfect! And the air freshener was of the finest quality, if ya know what I mean!:smokin: Dinner was tasty too! Got home at 3am! All I can say is........." Dave's not here man! "

sorry! V forgot the camera!

It was lots of fun! I think next time I'll go to sleep though, and let him continue the fun. Most parents were doing just that because the staff of the YMCA were keeping kids under control and the doors are locked so he wouldn't be able to get out. I just didn't feel comfortable trusting him alone at his age and with his other issues.

Glad you had a good time... I took my nephew to see CSN 2 summers ago and he wondered what that "air freshener" was and I told him a rare pine tree (we were in an outdoor amphitheater... :rotfl2:

The "pine" scent was......... in line as we were walking in, stronger as you went through the doors, all throughout the food areas( couldn't even smell the popcorn!popcorn:: ), stronger in the restrooms(took an extra, exra long time washing my hands:lmao: ), and of course in the arena itself! I think it was pumped in through the a.c. vents!:rotfl2:Kinda like Disney does with the candy smell on Mainstreet!

Had a very quiet day today. Breakfast in room and then a drive out to see where our villa is we have booked for May. couldn't get top the actual villa as it is a gated community, but the place looks very nice indeed. A couple of Publix close by which is great.

Then we came back to SSR and A channel is broadcasting them all the time so it is fun.:lmao:

We have a meal booked at Season's 52 offsite tonight which we have enjoyed before. It was our best meal last December. We have had some unexciting servers at meals this time. Basically they have just done a their job, nothing more. So far our best servers have been at le Chefs de France and Crystal Palace. It has been disappointing to me.

Two Days of No Cook Done

OK I've done as much as I am going to do today, but I've created 2 days of a no-cook 24 plan as I'm going to do.

I think the key thing that it shows is that you can eat a lot of filling food, snack and not have to cook (other than throw things in the microwave).

If anyone is interested, PM me with your email address and I'll send you the Excel spreadsheet so far.

The key is planning. It is also not just throwing one thing in the microwave. Let's face it, that's not going to satisfy hunger. Rather, it's how can you build a meal around frozen entree's etc, and not have to do a lot of cooking.
