I had never heard of it, so I guess I got lucky and caught it. I used to never watch TV except for Survivor and Desperate Housewives and Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I've recently started watching a tiny bit more and caught that new show while flipping channels. :thumbsup2

I watched the episode that helped the family in your neighborhood. They did a nice job for the family and they certainly deserved it. I loved seeing parts of Lansing around town too.

Marilyn, you should feel privileged because I have never sent a Christmas card this early before  I haven't gotten the picture to send yet so I will just not send it to anyone and post it on here instead :goodvibes

Can't wait to see the Christmas picture Gay.

V, looks like a fun place for dinner :thumbsup2 and enjoy the show :smokin: :rotfl2:

Today is Paul's bday, we are going to have dinner together at Buca d Bepo (sp) we have a ressie to sit in the kitchen, thought it would be fun :dance3: but dinner is at 8:30pm :scared1: that's ok on the cruise since we are 3+ hours ahead, but hard for us here since the kiddos will be starving...wish us luck:rolleyes1

Oh yeah, we got our small claims notice. Not bad, not good. We didn't have to refund the deposit to our deadbeat tenant, but he didn't have to pay for the rest of the damages either. Made me mad at first, but I'm over it now. Lesson learned send the letter upon tenant moving out with a huge estimate to CYA if necessary. Also, if we end up with a tenant that I don't like again, I'm not going to be nice and "let them stay" I'll just give them notice and be done with them when they start to make me concerned.

Happy Birthday Paul....enjoy your dinner out.

I hope your cruise is great! I work Thur. and Sundays except I will be off Christmas week...camping at Fort Wilderness!

Patrick went backto the foot dr. today. He is to keep his walking cast on most of the time for 3 more weeks. He's doing pretty well, and taking a few steps, but the boot's sole is so much thicker than a shoe, so he's really off. '

I hope he'll have fun at Ft. Wilderness anyway, but I doubt he'll be in the pool.

I want him to get into the golf cart, he would love that!

This would make me look at WW again - I do most of my "cooking" by microwave :lmao:

I'm with you and Jackie on this one Monica. That's the way we cook in my house too. Except that John will usually make a crock pot meal over the weekend and that will last a couple of days.

Happy Birthday Paul.:cool1: Enjoy your meal out.

Sorry about the small claims result Nan.

Hi Connie. We can't pop to The Beach Club till a week Sunday I'm afraid. We are staying there then anbd I was certainly planning on saying hi!! We are out and about this Sunday looking at our villas we have booked for next year. Remember, our October one is close to you!!!!

We had a lovely hour with Ann and Albert yesterday. They are at Amelia Island at a 'friends home now.

Had a good day today. AK this morning. Managed Nemo musical which we love, Everest, kali River Rapids, Flights of Wonder, and a stroll around the lovely park. Bused over to Epcot and rode Test Track, then ambled over to International Gateway for the Merry Mixer, then back home for a while.

Last night we had a great window seat at the California Grill, and we could just sit there and watch the Christmas fireworks, and the castle all lit up. Ate too much though.

Marilyn and Cheri....I'm so glad to hear about all the fun you're having. Keep telling us your activities so that we can live vicariously through you, as Karen would say.

thanks and thanks.

Your day sounds like great fun!!! I can't imagine that we will get that much done on our WDW trip being so close to the holiday, I figure the park will be totally crowded. Are the crowds bad now???

It is strange Nan. We were just saying today, and also chatting with a couple on Test Track, about the crowd level, and we all thought it was busier than this time in previous years. We have been here the same time the last 2 years. However, some rides were walk on.:confused3 Test Track has been bad though all 3 times we have been in Epcot. It keeps breaking down(each of the 3 times we were there) and the lines then get very long.

AK today felt very busy, but we walked onto Kali River Rapids and Everest was not too bad a wait either.

Being just a couple rather than a large group helps in getting round the parks and on more rides.

I'm still tentative and not strong in my conviction yet with Tom in the house, all I'm feeling is relieved that I didn't blow it. Today is day three and I'm still doing the right thing. It's a little better and surprisingly a little easier than I thought it was going to be. So that's good.

Well that sounds very positive Deb!!

We had a very nice meal at the Turf club here at SSR. Nice not to go out really. Just chilling and watching a film now.

Breakfast at Kona Cafe tomorrow and then some miniature golf at Winter Summerland I think.

I wore shorts for the first time today and it felt good!!! Hopefully I will fit into another pair tomorrow!!! :lmao:

Here is one of the choices. They are both smiling but it was like 9 am and I don't think I even brushed anyone's hair :scared1: But we are in Panama ;)

Hang in there, you are almost to that wonderful one year mark! Then it will be two years, then three.....eventually you will have to think and say, "um golly I have been a nonsmoker for 10 years now!"

I'm looking forward to the one year mark. I feel like I need to lock that in so that it's harder to go against when you weigh it out.

What are your plans this weekend. I'd love to call you tomorrow afternoon if you'll be available.

and this one but I think it looks like they are getting married

We are at Valley of the Rogue State Park in southern OR tonight. We should be at DL by Dec 14! :woohoo: Family and friends to see along the way. Just got an email from friend we are seeing tomorrow and Sunday. They are excited, setting up the drums, gettig out the guitars and want to jam with DrHug.

OK, now I know what you're doing. I'll call you Monday afternoon instead. Enjoy your time with your friends this weekend. Take pics and post of Dr. Hug jamming. It will be so much fun.

I have to quote everything you said today

I did not pass the test. Oh well. I applied for three other positions and two of them I want more.

I think we might see from pictures from Cheri. If not, you are right and she isn't really there :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I love New Year's Eve and we never go out because for some reason people don't like to babysit on that day :confused3 It is also my anniversary so we are never alone on our anniversary. I know it is my fault I got married on that day but I didn't think that far ahead. We usually have friends over but now most of our friends have kids or they are pregnant now so I'm not sure what will happen this year. It may be nice to be a family one year. Just the four of us drinking sparkling cider and sitting by the fire. Well that would depend on the weather.
.
When our boys were old enough to be interested in staying up to see the ball drop (and we lived in the eastern time zone so it was at our midnight) we made brownie-ice cream sundaes to ring in the New Year. Each one told me the kind of toppings he wanted. They were terrific!! :thumbsup2:

I hope the weather stays nice for you Marilyn and warms up some more.

I love all of your plans....I think miniature golf is one of mine and John's favorite games to play.
