Gaylean, I LOVE all the photos....but this one just says it all I think. I love the way they look all dressed up. They don't look like they're getting married. They look like a princess and a prince. I also love the sea in the background. This one gets my vote.

This is beautiful, but again...my pick would be the dressed up one....it's just more festive and fun and perfect for Christmas. JMHO.

Holly - well at least today is Friday and the weekend looms ahead.

Absolutely! I was so happy to get out of work, it was a crazy hectic day. Went out for dinner with a few friends, then did a bit of shopping, and finally got home about 9:30pm. Laundry is going and I'm about to watch "Hancock".

I had an idea this morning. I might put together a set of menus for 1 week that require no cooking other than opening packages and heating up food.

I'm going to go for a target of 20 points a day and no cooking, to see what I can come up with.

OH....MY....GOSH! That would be right up my alley!

On Saturday we are going to see Cheech & Chong Light Up America at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk. And we are going here for dinner.

Today is Paul's bday, we are going to have dinner together at Buca d Bepo (sp) we have a ressie to sit in the kitchen, thought it would be fun but dinner is at 8:30pm that's ok on the cruise since we are 3+ hours ahead, but hard for us here since the kiddos will be starving...wish us luck


Oh yeah, we got our small claims notice. Not bad, not good. We didn't have to refund the deposit to our deadbeat tenant, but he didn't have to pay for the rest of the damages either. Made me mad at first, but I'm over it now. Lesson learned send the letter upon tenant moving out with a huge estimate to CYA if necessary. Also, if we end up with a tenant that I don't like again, I'm not going to be nice and "let them stay" I'll just give them notice and be done with them when they start to make me concerned.

Eekkk I have to remember about that BK thing, Molly has some cards from her bday that she should use, if and before they can't be used. Another project for this weekend. She isn't a take me shopping kind of girl, but when we are shopping now she does look and ask for stuff (she never did that when she was little)

We always rent with a minimum of a 6 month lease thereafter month to month. The tenants we have now are great, fingers crossed they stay that way

Molly has her first play meeting after school. It's for Into the Woods She has her hopes up for Little Red Ridinghood. Not sure that she has a chance, many older girls who sign great are trying out too. Try outs are next week, Mon & Tues send her good wishes for her audition.

One of my favorite musicals and that's a great role for a girl! Red is a bit snotty in this one.

I left work early today, at about 4:30. I came home and we went shopping. It was about 17F. Mrs Fezziwig has not been out of the garage since last Sunday.

She started right up (as she should have, considering we got her in April) and was a champ on the ice.

By the way, North South West Eastwood Canal now has a build up of ice in it. I think I saw the Titanic in the alley.

We hit 4 stores and got all of normal weekend shopping done by 7:00 PM. Unheard of.

When we left to go shopping, we saw there was a big tent in the big public parking lot that is next to our El station.

It is an event called "Christmas in the Square." We live in Lincoln Square, get it?

When we got home, we left the groceries in the car in the garage (as if anything is going to spoil when it's 17F, which is colder than our freezer).

It was nice in the tent, heaters for one thing, booths with vendors, a band, and they were selling, beer, wine, champagne and brats.

Don't know why I thought of you folk.

I watched the episode that helped the family in your neighborhood. They did a nice job for the family and they certainly deserved it. I loved seeing parts of Lansing around town too.

Well, here's the sad part of the whole story. One of my friends brought a co-worker to dinner tonight who is a friend of that family. She told us the mom already has the house up for sale because she can't pay the taxes.

you don't like lasagna Well I love most things there. I don't like the alfredo sauce but I don't like it most places. I love the lemon chicken with capers and the meatballs and the pizza with spicy arrabbiata. I think you can view the specials online if you can't wait
