Cool! I was planning on doing the 4 days get 3 free. I'm pretty sure you have to book by December 15-ish to get that deal and have to travel before mid-June-ish. But if they have a better deal, I'm all for a bigger bargain!

No sign of Tom or the kid yet. They were in Maryland at 5:30 pm so it'll take them another 3 hours or so from there. It's 7:30 pm now so they should be here within the hour. We already bought the pizza, but I'm sure all he's going to want to do is see Deanna, his girlfriend. That's fine with us. It has been a year since they saw each other. I have seen him twice since he left. I'll let you know when he arrives.

Oh... we won't hear from you for at LEAST the first hour he's there...

Hello all (and Nan).

Back from another busy day. I'm about to have dinner.

I had some bad news. The health insurance will not pay part of Sukie's bill or I should say might not. They have sent off questionnaire to the ENT and we had to fill some out as well. This is because his condition existed before he was on my insurance.

Still, they paid a very big portion of the bill, but that leaves us with A LOT to pay ourselves.

Talking about reining in our horns ... I have to think seriously about our vacation plans, or at least the cruise in September. The bill is still much higher than the cruise, but the money may just have to go towards paying part of the bill.

We'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm not griping because they still paid part of it, though surgery is so expensive that even the "left overs" are rather hefty.

To say the least I'm a bit disappointed but those are the breaks.

Now I'm trying to figure out if we can swing WDW. I have the DVC points, so I have to think about our airfare for a couple of trips and the cost of a couple of APs.

Fight it Ian... they paid alot already... they acknowledge that it was a problem... Preexisting my butt... tell him before he had and English Accent and now he sounds like a Chicagoan... or should we hold out for Brooklyn...

It has been a really rough Monday, I forgot I had a huge project due today until this morning and I only had 4 hrs after school to finish it. I was supposed to pick Karli up from school but my moms friend did it so I could do my project. My mom is on her way home and I can't wait to be back at my home. Only 1 more week and this semester will be done! Then I will do the christmas cards and get them sent, get my tree, go to Dollywood with Matt. I feel bad though as my sister is begging to go to Dollywood but I want it to just be Matt and I, so thats what I told her. She took it well, maybe one day when she is out of school I will take her. So I now know why I don't have kids yet, these past few days have been soooo stressful.

Have a good time with Matt!!! Tell Dolly we said hello!!!

And here the only thought that crossed my mind was ... what great nails.

I'm so sorry for Will & Mickey. Please offer them my condolences. And for you Being a friend is the best thing that they need right now.

For me it's also a sad night. My Aunt Lue passed away this morning. She had be on declined for the last week, so it was known this was coming, but nonetheless sad. My cousin, Laura is who I'm most concerned about tonight. Her father, my father's brother passed about 15 years ago, so this makes her alone now. She has a brother but they don't get along at all. Laura is the Grandmother to the twins, one of which passed last summer, you may remember. If you can spare an extra prayer for my cousin and her grief that would be great.

Deb, stay strong and I agree with the advice you've received, tell those that are smoking around you that it isn't cool and it isn't helping. I think it's ok to voice your thoughts in this type of situtation. Good Luck

Paul and I had a nice couple days away. Always good to reconnect

Now it's time to get ready for our Xmas/NYE travels to WDW and on the Magic.

We rented bikes on CC during the PC cruise and really enjoyed it. They have water stations along the path so make sure you drink enough. And take a camera - some nice views from the observation tower and at the far end of Serenity Bay.

And there are maritime flags on either side of the Tower! They spell out

I had fun figuing that out.

Well, at least that will help a little. I agree with Michelle and you should fight the insurance company. If they really had a problem with it being a pre-existing thing, they wouldn't have paid any it would seem, so I'd tell them that by paying part of it, they're accepting that they should cover it. Might or might not work, but I've heard many people say that insurance companies try to avoid paying lots of things because most people won't fight it, but if you do, they often cave.

I am so sorry to heard that sad news and i know the feeling...as so you feel numb. If you cannot make it, Maybe you should send the flowers or card that you are unable to attend the funeral. I am sure they will understand it.

And this Friday Paul's birthday woo hoo as Ian is havng work night out with his workmates as they are paying for the meals and will get champagne and drinks free (Wish it is for me)

I believe that USA have more better with Santa etc and beautiful decorations too than here

Nan, now you have had that talk with Paul, please try and relax and enjoy 'not working'. I don't like using that term because I know there is a lot you are doing to make family life great for you all.

Thanks Marilyn. I've never really ever taken time like this before. I started working at 15, full time working at 18 even when I was in college I worked full time. When I had Molly, delivered on Wednesday and back at work Friday, with Willie, I answered calls the next day too. Didn't take a real maternity leave with either of the kids. I'm just glad that Paul understands that I'm burnt out. He is a good guy I do a lot for my mom too and I think that has been alot of why I've called it quits on the working outside of the house.

Nan...just be there as much as you can and always remember that she's family and she will never be alone...

Oh and Paul said it's ok if I quit too...

Just got a call from Cheri - they're checked in and enjoying the room in Jamaica (lol) and getting ready to go to Epcot. Glad they got in safely & I told her to dress warmly for tonight

Some interesting news tonight, my other sister (I have 3)is going to come to WDW with us at Xmas if she can get the time off work. She changed her mind and doesn't want to be alone at Xmas. I'm glad...I think my dad is haunting her Now if the other one will come then it will be very cold in hell It's so funny how sisters can be so different!!!!
