Good Morning Deborah. Stay warm today.
Tom arrives today.....it's going to be a great day!

Deb

Except you Deborah...
Good morning!!!![]()
For Will & Mickey (my friends that I know a bunch of you met)...
Just got off the phone w/ Will...he wanted to wait until I was back from VB to tell me all of this....
Will's grandmother passed away from a heart attack on Thanksgiving Day.
Mickey's dad (also sailed w/ us on the PC cruise) also had a heart attack on Thanksgiving Day & has not regained conciousness. He's brain dead. They took out the breathing tube today, and now they're just waiting for him to stop breathing. They are in Houston.
Will & Mick had been in NYC for the holiday...they watched the parade & went to Letterman & then found out the news.
Thanks.
Monica:
I'm so sorry for Will & Mickey. Please offer them my condolences. And for youBeing a friend is the best thing that they need right now.
For me it's also a sad night. My Aunt Lue passed away this morning. She had be on declined for the last week, so it was known this was coming, but nonetheless sad. My cousin, Laura is who I'm most concerned about tonight. Her father, my father's brother passed about 15 years ago, so this makes her alone now. She has a brother but they don't get along at all. Laura is the Grandmother to the twins, one of which passed last summer, you may remember. If you can spare an extra prayer for my cousin and her grief that would be great.
Deb, stay strongand I agree with the advice you've received, tell those that are smoking around you that it isn't cool and it isn't helping. I think it's ok to voice your thoughts in this type of situtation. Good Luck

Paul and I had a nice couple days away. Always good to reconnect![]()
Now it's time to get ready for our Xmas/NYE travels to WDW and on the Magic.
talk with ya later thieves![]()

Geez, I just finished reading about the Wonder! Sounds like everything is OK, though.
I'm at the Ramada Inn near the Phx airport. Funny thing, this place is $80 a night and includes free internet. This is the last free internet I get until I come home. Both the CBR and OKW charge $9.95 a day for internet and you know what it costs on the ship! So this may be the last you hear from me unless I break down and have to check my email at some point!![]()

We don't have any excursions planned, although I might rent a bike on CC. It's always been way too hot to go for a bike ride all the other times I've been there. In Nassau we're going to just go to the straw market, maybe the pirate museum, look around a little. I'd rather spend the time on the ship and everyone else kind of feels that way, too. I figure we get beach time at CC. I'm so excited to be on the ship again, and to see the Wonder for the first time, and see the Toy Story show! And of course to see WDW!
Better get to sleep, 7:30 is pretty early for me!Our plane leaves at 10 a.m., non-stop
. Pretty soon I'm on my way!!! Yeaaaaaaaaa!!!

No, carry on and I love to see the photos and saw the photos of your family. Oh what a beautiful photos. Happy and beautiful weather as I cannot believe that I have cold weather here now.
Lisa - I wonder if you know the person Kathy. (mum x 4, grandma x 4)? I think she was on your cruise too.

I told you about this necklace, but I never posted the pictures. I got number 62 out of a limited edition of 1000. Not bad. I love it. More happy birthday to me.

Good Morning all Snow Bunnies! (and Nan),
How is everyone on the wintry morning?
Deb - congratulations on coming up on your anniversary of not smoking! Well done.
So by now you are over the physical addiction and I suppose it is the emotional addiction?
Might it help to reframe the habit? I find reframing a habit into being absurd helps me.
Some like, I was addicted to decopaging toilet seat and cat litter boxes. Couldn't stop myself, but now I'm over it.
Making it absurd or silly reframes it. Silliness has the ability to strip power away from things and people.
Sort of like the emperor having no clothing. If you can reframe the habit and look at it differently, that might help.
It also helps to reframe it from "I can't" to "I don't want to".
My believe is that "I can't" invites solutioning, and a way around the "problem." (Oh, go ahead, just one won't hurt you).
I believe that "I don't want to" is a statement without solution.
"I can't go skydiving."
"I don't want to go skydiving."
"I can't go shopping."
"I don't want to go shopping."
"I can't smoke."
"I don't want to smoke."

)wow! what a beautiful mickey necklace!
Are those real stones?
Lucky you to get such a low number, too.
I put up some Christmas lights and little trees outside out back and around the lanai yesterday. Today I am going to put out net lights on the bushes out front AND my NEW Mickey and Minnie driving a car blow up! Also I have Winnie the Pooh and friends blow up. All the little kids in our neighborhood love to come over and have their picture taken with them in my yard. I feel like the grandma of the neighborhood. (That's the only way I will get grandchildren, I will have to rent them)

I'll give you a real one when I see you.
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. I've been having a hard time today...luckily my boss has been finding stuff for me to do off the phone (she's the best).
Prayers go out to you too - Nan, and your cousinI'll give you a real one when I see you.
Deb - sorry that I was not supportive to you yesterday. I know that you know we are here for you, and as Holly said--we'll gladly tell you NO! I'm sure Tom will understand, and you know we're all so proud of you![]()
I know I'm forgetting bunches of people & things I would normally respond too. Please forgive me.
Love to you all!
Oh Monica, how very hard it is. Hang in there sweetie. Just let your feelings flow and get it all out. Hugs to you to help.
No need to apologize for yesterday. I got PLENTY of support from everyone. I got the help that I needed. You need it now. We're all here for you and Will and Mick too. Many hugs!!!![]()
