I would enjoy Thanksgiving, but Black Friday shopping would stress me!!!

I went shopping on Black Friday ONE TIME in my life and will never do so again. The great deals that can be found are not worth the chaos. If I'm not able to get shopping done before Thanksgiving, I do the rest online. I'd rather pay shipping than deal with the traffic and crowds and rude & shoving people.

Don't be fooled by her looks. That's the evil one, or the "claw-footed one who walks among us" as we affectionately call her.

I don't believe it for a minute! I might just have to take a little drive and take her off your hands, and the other one too while I'm at it!

No I'm still here. I had to pull the gratin out of the oven. I also decided to amuse myself by taking photos.

He's not even one of the proper guests. He's somebody's boyfriend (OK, he has been coming here for Thanksgiving for about 12 years or so, and his annoying us every year has become somewhat of an Eastwood tradition, but he is still relegated to the designation of, "the boyfriend."

Considering that this year I have the 6 million dollar heritage turkey, the most expensive turkey I could possibly find in the entire northern hemisphere, there is going to be a battle and a race for the left overs.

Want me to get Tyler to come stab his hand with a fork? Might as well make use of his weirdness! (Cant' believe I just typed that-----BAD mom)!

Ok... creepy day...

You see back in High School I had a guy who used to well, almost STALK me... We all hung out in a group together and he took it a bit too far...

It's been something that all of my friends have sort of kept an eye on for me...

Well... then there's facebook and classmates...

seems he's been checking my profile on both (it appears on classmates each time he visits and some of my friends have told me he's asked about me... ) alot... I did not accept him as a friend when the request came through - I think it was a good idea...

I called one of my friends to let him know... we'll see if anything else happens... I thought these headaches went away long ago...

John just got home with the wine and the mulling spices. Now I'm happy! It's a good thing that we have a winery right down the block.

Bourbon, butter and brown sugar is an awfully good combination.
