It will be a picture from the cruise but They don't have any wall space for poster size pictures. There house is custom built and is very strange. I'll try to find a picture.

Move a few around... I do that everytime I go to my sisters house... she has my mother's picture next to my stop mothers...

Ok getting ready to go wait for Bubba to get off work. fun too, we get to drive home in the rain. and traffic is going to s*ck.

Imagine it, 2 cups of packed, light brown sugar, a stick of butter and a cup and a quarter of bourbon.

Haven't had a minute to catch up today and we are out the door for the big tenant small claims court show down...Wish us luck. I printed up 50 pictures of the trash, damage and garbage he left and I hope they will tell the story well enough. Our contractor is also coming to the court house (nice guy that he is) fingers crossed...send up a prayer for us. thanks...be back later tonight.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Scottsdale and will come back home Friday. That'll give me a couple of days to get organized and pack for my WDW trip & cruise!!! I'll leave here Mon. night, spend the night near the airport and fly out Tues. morning.

I had the weirdest dream about the trip last night. I dreamed I was at WDW, trying to find my way around and asking people all these questions (they were getting really annoyed with me). Finally someone that I know from our group, I'm not sure who it was, it could have been a "composite" person (you know, like a combination of Monica, Jackie and Kathe?) got really snippy with me and said, "Well, I guess you obviously didn't read all the things I gave you, did you?" I felt really bad, like I'd been caught cheating on a test or something! So freaky! I've been doing some reading here and there, but life has been happening too, ya know???

Ian, your TG dishes sound divine! Anything loaded with butter, brown sugar and bourbon HAS to be good! I'm doing a lot of the cooking for the TG dinner in Scottsdale, which I volunteered to do. Tomorrow before I leave I'm making a pie, the stuffing, and some cheese celery stuffing that my grandma always made. Tonight I made a molded ambrosia salad and tested a new recipe for baked yams and apples (wanted to make sure it tasted OK). I'm getting all the cooking out of my system since I'll be having TG at Ian's next year!!!!!!!

I hope everyone who celebrates it has a wonderful Thanksgiving and for those who don't celebrate, I hope you have a nice warm weekend! I'll try to check in again before I leave.

My recipe for bourbon sweet potatoes is to put the sweet potatoes in a dish, cover with 2 cups of light brown sugar, cut up a stick of butter then slide in the oven. Then, while they are cooking, drink a cup and a quarter of bourbon. After they cook, they taste great. Well, most everything tastes great after that.

I've decided to write the performance reviews after Thanksgiving. I'll have 3 days to get 4 reviews done.

Guess what......PEG'S COOKING. Jose's 'vote' won out and we're having a bird, mashed potatoes, GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE, cranberry sauce with can wrinkles and a pie ordered from Village Inn. There was still a debate going on about WHAT pie when I got off the phone with Peg last night.

It's raining here Happy Dance because we need it. It will be rainy tomorrow too (Drive carefully Cheri).

Today is only a half day at work, because the 'national' team (4 of us) are going to the 2:30 showing of Quantum of Solace.


Ian, got my 2009 Thanksgiving vacation approved...that is to say, my team-mate agreed to my plan. Management just signs off on it once the two of us have worked out 'coverage'.

Hi Friends....hope everyone is getting as excited as I am about turkey day. Even though we're doing something different this year, I'm very excited to do it....getting dressed up and going out to a beautiful place. Lots of fun.
