Hi Jacks!!!!

How is Arizona surviving without Cheri???

I imagine you two will have some catching up to do when she gets back (in between when she leaves again...)

Holly, I think he has his privacy settings to 'friends only', so couldn't see his info (except for the profile photo of his uncle and his name and that we have one mutual friend...you!)

Hi everybody!

.
Bummer! I'll try to get a picture of us or him soon and will put on my FB.

Hi :wave2:

It's all very exciting here today with the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony tonight.
We have lots of road closures locally tomorrow & Sunday for the Cycling Road Races, it runs through part of our town so we hope to get to see the cyclists speed past.
Next Friday we have tickets for the Athletics in the Olympic Stadium.
It will be great to see the Park finished, we last saw it with Monica in March last year on a very wet day. I'll ask Albert to post a picture.

Ann

I'm looking forward to the opening ceremonies tonight.
Glad you were able to get tickets for something :)

Hi G!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Sorry.. wasn't online before to answer...

Getting ready for the storms.. already have tornado warnings up .. fun stuff.. of course it's nice and sunny out already. I've already decided that if we lose electric for long.. I'm packing up both coolers and heading down to my brother's house...

Gotta go move the furniture on the deck.. wouldn't want that flying around in a storm...

Scary but maybe a visit to your brother's house would be fun :)

G... bringing my own food to my brothers house would have worked well... As Emma says... Her parents don't have food in the fridge.. they have condiments...

Such excitement about the Olympics! Glad to see it bringing lots of people over here! Hi everybody! :cool1:

I don't watch it, but am enjoying everybody else's excitement. :thumbsup2

Aw, my poor sweetie had a procedure today, nothing major, but he was worried about it and is still afraid of what the results will show, and asked me last night if I would come visit when he got home from it today because he said my smile makes him feel better, but when I got home from work and went over, his parents said "He waited and waited for you but you didn't come and he couldn't keep awake any longer." How sad! I feel terrible! His mom said "He wanted to see you." But then she hugged me and kissed me, and dad said "Your mother in law loves you, please eat with us." They're soooooo sweet!

Holly.. they've already got you married off...
I know. They love me. ;) On my way back over to see if he's up. Since he told me that Goofy is his favorite character, and it's impossible to find a Goofy to buy around here (no Disney store), I'm going to take over one of our stuffed Goofys for him to borrow until he feels better from today. Kind of corny, but I know it will make him smile. :thumbsup2

Goofy is part of your dowry? :goofy:
:lmao: I guess! And 3 1/2 hours later, I'm home. Goofy was big hit, Goofy got lots of hugs and cuddles laying on the couch with him. Mom and dad had me eat with them, more new things for me to try, Saudi coffee (I don't like coffee but it didn't even taste like coffee, more like tea, which I don't like either, but liked this) and other new things. Such a great visit! During one of the prayer times while Loie was praying with dad, mom was talking with me at the dinner table, she's going to teach me how to cook the meals she makes. :goodvibes And I got to meet his sister by phone. She called from Saudi and dad must have told her I was there because he handed me the phone and told me to talk to her. Um.....awkward! LOL! But so sweet! She asked "So you like my brother?" :rotfl2:

Mom wants me to smoke the hookah with her, OMG!!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: In their country, women don't do that, so they're a very non-traditional family. Too funny!!!!!

They are looking for a wife for their beloved son!!! Seems they have found her.;) It sounds like you are having a lovely time Holly and it is great to see you so happy. Does he have a name we can read and pronounce or have I missed that?

His name is Loie (he has English speaking people just pronounce is as "Louie" but in his language it's pronounced like "low eye", emphasis on the "eye"). Sadness to add though. After my hours of visiting last night, came home and we were texting for an hour. We just can't stop! ;) The sad problem is that he has such strong feelings but says he's in so much pain to be able to carry on a relationship. He honestly has to stop in the middle of conversations and go lie down in a dark room when the head pain comes, and about every 10 minutes goes silent and still with waves of pain. This is 24/7. He feels he can't have much of a life with so much pain, but that I do make him feel better when I'm around. He is considering going back home so family can help him 24/7, somebody would always be there if he falls or is in too much pain to get him self to the bathroom. But he doesn't know what to do because he has such strong feelings for me he says. He doesn't believe the doctors can make his pain better after over a year of trying different things.

I suggested maybe we should stop contact for a while but he feels he wants me around so much but just doesn't feel he can have a relationship. So I guess the answer is just be only friends and ignore our hearts. We both feel exactly the same for each other, more and more every day. Any suggestions?

And I know he's not making excuses trying to get me to go away because he keeps expressing more and more feeling, and keeps talking about favorite places he likes to go (Chicago, Mackinac Island up north in Michigan, a town called Frankenmuth in Michigan, etc.) and saying "We need to go there together sometime". Seems like the struggle is the uncertainty about whether the pain will ever get taken care of. Not sure what the answer is. Maybe suggest just keep things the way we're doing, don't talk about future just to avoid pressure, and see what happens.

glad you liked them... makes the fair fun... they have lots of fans... (me of course...)

Sort of sets the tone for the next racing season.. SAR-A-TO-GA!!!!!

I hop I have more luck with the horses.. Tyrone the terrible was terrible on Thursday night... :rotfl2:

Looking forward to the horses at the Indiana Stats Fair and trying to find the photo from the cover of the Fair program so I can share it here--so far no success.
