one of the TA's that I know from the Dis is attending the christening... it's due for 3/1 at 6 pm.. it's an evening event... (and it will be dark... )

I was invited to attend the Earmarked Conf on board the Fantasy the week before the MV, but I can't take the time off....someone already has that week off. Oh well.

My world just fell apart. Can't share details because I don't know anything

Believe it or not, I actually got onto the bike again last night....I wanted something sweet to snack on (not that I was hungry), so instead of turning into the kitchen, I got myself on the bike & did 4 miles! That's 14 so far this week!!! AND neither knee grumbled last night

Thanks Deb, and everybody else. Keeping my typing fingers silent publicly for now. Just keep praying and I'm trying my best to be strong after tons of phone calls tonight. My phone usually only rings once a day at most (sometimes I go days with no calls), and tonight it's seen more action that it sees in a week usually!

And Monica, you said I could call you tonight, and I was planning on it, but calls just kept coming in.

The snow stopped here. We got about four inches. Now everybody say a prayer that the kid doesn't smack the truck into anything while plowing us out. John got a new (used) truck because the beast had lots of mechanical issues. Our new truck is ready to go, but John bought a stick shift. He said he can't drive it because it kills his knees. So the kid is going to have to plow us out. Wish us good luck with that. Next thing I know, he'll be going sideways down our driveway or get the truck stuck in a ditch off the side of the driveway.....just our luck with him at the wheel. Keeping everything crossed that it doesn't happen.
