Too much ice cream. But oh so good!!! I chose birthday cake flavor and white chocolate macadamia nut and for toppings I added brownie pieces, cookie dough chunks, maraschino cherries, walnuts, coconut, strawberries, white chocolate chips, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. We were moaning with delight at every spoonful.

I was just skimming throught the TR's here on the dis... I was looking at the PC cruises and you know.. now that they are doing them more often... it's sort of lost something... & I really don't think they had the "magic" of friendship, etc. like we did... I don't think they're all gonna be friends in 5 years...

I wish I had energy today to get done what needs done. Should have started yesterday but we had a lazy relaxing day playing video games and alternately watching Disney channel. But today and tomorrow I need to get all the Christmas stuff taken down and put back in the attic and clean up because I'm not sure when the new job will start and then I won't have time to get stuff done after work because I won't be home until after midnight every day. The guy told me all I need to do is pass my math/spelling test and then he'd put me on the schedule, and he told me he'd be calling me to schedule my test any day now, so I want to be ready.

Any news yet from the new job about the test?

Well, sorry your truck is gone but at least this is your last winter having to worry about the snow! Wow, John retires really soon!!! I am so envious March will come in no time at all. Your winter will go fast with all of the planning you have to do. Glad you were able to find a house you like already.

Thanks Kathe.....and thank all goodness that this is our last winter here on the mountain. I need some sunshine. I know March will happen quickly and we have to be ready. We'll kick it up a notch when John finishes his last day of work. He has only 18 actual work days left....maybe even less if he takes some time off that he's due. I'm so happy that we found the right place so easily. Now let's keep fingers crossed that we have the same luck in March when we're ready to sign the papers.

Hi Holly! I can't believe the twins are almost 8 months old already! Liam is really cute, full of smiles and loves attention! Eric has had a rough couple of months. I was only back from my cruise for 2 days, then I looked after Serenity and Liam as Eric was scheduled for his surgery in Toronto. We thought he'd be home in a week, but after a week and a half my son had to come and get the others as I had to go back to work and they were all in Toronto for about a month.Thank goodness for Ronald McDonald House! Eric made it home finally, only to be re-admitted to the hospital here in London for about a week. He was released the Friday before Christmas...yay! He still has a few troubles but is getting better. Poor little fella...he is starting to feel a little better and smile again though.

Kathe.....twins Liam and Eric.....who are they? Are they Serenity's little brothers? I vaguely remember Holly passing on a message that you said hi and maybe I remember only a little bit about her saying that twins were on the way. I don't really remember all that well. Please remind me again.

I'm so sorry to hear that Eric is not in good health. Hopefully all the doctors will fix him up just as well as his brother. You must be a very busy lady with Serenity and the twin boys and the older child also. I think there's only one older child, but I could be wrong. That's a big family already. How wonderful!!! It keeps you young!!!

No baby yet... her due date has fluctuated so many times I've lost count.

I'm thinking of starting a baby pool on FB...

By now she surely has started labor and it shouldn't be very long now.

Or dinner might be with Loie at the ice cream buffet place he told me about today! That depends on whether he's awake and pain controlled enough to go out. But......ice cream BUFFET? I won't believe it until I see it, LOL!

So the romance has been put aside and you and Loie are now friends and can go out from time to time. It's good to know that he is controlling his pain and can have somewhat of a life. This is great news!
