:hug::grouphug::hug::grouphug: - Lisa & Michelle.

Holly - great job w/ the activity on vacation!! Glad you & Tyler had a great time - I enjoyed the pictures.

My sister called me yesterday to tell me that she & my bro-in-law don't want me to drive (like I was thinking) to MD, then to MI. I was thinking about doing this over labor day weekend/week. She thinks it's more $ than flying & more wear & tear on the car. Not sure about the $ aspect, but will agree about the car.

I know she means well, but the way it came out of her mouth, made me :furious: Part of me now doesn't want to go at all, except that I want to see the kiddos. grrrrrr

Hi all!!

Taking the desk out of the bedroom also opens up space for me to put another dresser (once I buy it from Ikea). I need more drawers.

Obviously a male/female thing. Not more drawers, less things :idea:

Now hiding in bottom drawer :scared1::scared1:

:love::love:

Good. Bring it hold baggage next time you're over. My back yard needs a haircut :rotfl:

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:...only problem with that, is I don't see a trip over any time in the near future :sad2::sad1: (again, unless I win the lottery or get the sugar daddy)

For those of you doing Hawaii...where are you planning on staying the night before the cruise?

Guess this might get you a baron. Sorry -

A baron is a member of the nobility, with a rank which varies depending on the nation. In England and Japan, for example, barons are at the bottom rung of the nobility. Many countries use the title of baron or some variation thereof in the ranking systems for their noble classes, and the title may be conferred or inherited. The female version of a baron is a baroness.

The word is derived from the Spanish barón, which was in turn taken from the Frankish word baro, which refers to a nobleman or warrior. In most European countries, barons played an important role in feudal society by managing land and tenants and defending the king, if necessary. In England, a baron actually swore loyalty specifically to the king or another high ranking noble. In return for this loyalty, the baron was granted a gift of land and serfs, which could be used to make a living.

A land grant given to a baron is known as a barony. Some baronies were historically quite large, and many have passed out of the control of barons in the modern era, since the role of the nobility in general society has changed. Barons, for example, no longer control the lives of serfs and servants, and they may not always be members of the military responsible for defending their monarchs and home nations.

- you might get land and serfs, but that's why the Pilgram fathers left UK :laughing:

Cinderella's father was a baron - Hardup :eek:

I used to be a Queen...

Marrying down might not be an option... :rolleyes1

My sister told me to sell things on ebay to get the $ for the tickets to the wedding... :sad2:

I have a room somewhere, but since Peg & Jose cancelled, I'd consider moving to a hotel where all my friends are! ::yes::

(I think I'm at the Hyatt or Hilton at Long Beach)

Sorry to hear that Peg and Jose cancelled. But they were staying at the Hyatt on the water. I know because I looked into it when you sent me the link. I'm staying at the DoubleTree in San Pedro. Since we're only doing one night I didn't switch to the Hyatt for the water views. So cancel your ressie and switch to DoubleTree. There's a bunch of us staying there and I believe we are planning a get together in the hotel.
