Hello all!! I was going to say good morning (cuz work-wise it's only 1033am) but realized it's actually 133pm. I'm so !

Cheri is on her way to DL as she is attending the D23 conference. Sounds really cool (she was telling me about it the other night). I was teasing her, cuz in some seminars they dont' allow you to take in a camera or a cell phone (told her she was going to feel naked!!)

I started going through some piles of stuff yesterday...sorting them into "file", "recycle", "shred" & "trash" piles.

I brought some stuff into the office today to continue with that - in between & actual work. I even pulled out the shredder & it's ready to go.

I decided that I am NOT going to MD/MI over Labor Day week. It's only 2 weeks away & I just got a bill from the anesthisiologist (or however that's spelled) for over $400.00. ugh. I did decide that I will go to MD over Thanksgiving.

You are so welcome! It's pretty that way. But I couldn't get the letters to come out capitalized.....very strange. I had Caps Lock on and it just didn't work!?!?!

The Dis has disabled most of the CAPS... I guess it jams up their system... or they don't want us to get about things...

So.....I just bought plane tickets today for Kristopher. He will be here on Sept 6th. He's moving in too. Odd how the boys have managed to make it back here to where they remember their childhood. I feel like we have come full circle.

You know.. what goes around.. comes around... they've both grown up... and they will appreciate it this time...

But... he DID have a stroke... some effects... the Drs think he'll regain most over time...

Just glad to hear his voice...

The company that I now book travel for (Maxim Integrated Products) is based in Sunnyvale, CA (Silicon Valley area) so I work 9a-6p Pacific time (that's 12noon-9p my time/Eastern).

There is talk that in January, my shift may change to 630a-330p Pacific, which will put me at 930a-630p Eastern.

G'day all!

I found something to do (getting the house in order) while I'm at my desk...sorting through papers. I shredded enough stuff yesterday to fill 1 1/2 trash bags. More to be done today.

Talked to Cheri last night as she was driving to DL - told her I even found my shipboard folio from the PC cruise....didn't realize I had spent that much $ on board

I found 6 magazines that I hadn't read...so that's on tap for today too. I brought 2 bins into the office last night, for me to go through today. This helps me get through the day plus helps me feel productive

I know V & Bubba are on their way to Seattle - and will be boarding the Wonder on Tuesday. I think they're meeting up w/ Kaylee & Scott.

I'm going to a volunteer open house at the Orlando SCPA tomorrow morning (going to see about becoming a kitty cuddler), will stop by the AT&T store to see about changing my cell phone & plan, then onto the library to drop off the last 2 boxes of books I have to donate.

I need to do the yard this weekend (but more than likely on Sunday) plus need to keep on track purging stuff from my house.

Heading to the landfill tomorrow too (with Marlene) to dispose of old paint that I inherited w/ the house.

Then move somewhere that doesn't get as much snow. Just like that's my plan as soon as Tyler's grown and I'm able to move. I won't move when he's still going back and forth between my house and his dad's. It just wouldn't be fair to anybody.
