Hi All!!

I ended up not getting on the computer at all this weekend....ahhhhh

I didn't do all that much this weekend.....not nearly what I had planned. I pulled some weeds on Friday night....set up the computer pieces that night too (I got everything except for the power cords for the monitor & the base). The office is basically all done now. Verizon is coming out tomorrow to install a new phone jack in that room w/ it's own dedicated internet line.

Saturday - I went to the library to donate another box of books & pick up 2 that were being held for me. Cooked a roast in the rotisserie & spent the afternoon reading.

Sunday - I went into Lakeland with Will & Mickey. We walked around the Lakeland Mall....I made a new friend at the Pet store....and played with him for about 10 minutes. He was a 9 week old miniture schnauzer (the only kind of dog I will get IF I were to ever get a dog again). He was precious!!! I figured if I got a puppy hug, I wouldn't be tempted to take him home (unlike a kitty). I did ask how much he cost...just for grins & giggles...I don't plan to ever get a pet from a pet store....he was $1300 :scared1: WHAT!!! They were willing to knock off $200 & do a payment plan .....CRAZY!! (he was adorable tho). Will took a picture w/ his phone...if he sends it to me, I will post it.

Yesterday - I did nothing but read. I finished "The girl that played with fire", and read the newest Mary Higgins Clark book. Will be starting on "A place of peace" by Amy Clipston today.

If anyone gets an email from me where the subject line is

RE:2 (or some number)....just go ahead & delete it.....some sort of spam. It's coming from a rarely used email mishoetravel@hotmail.com.

I was able to get you 5122 :cool1: Will send you an email shortly w/ the numbers :thumbsup2

WOOHOOHOO!!!!!!!!!! I'm smiling now!!!!

I sent you an email back. Call me at luch time. I'll give you the other card numbers.

I'm really excited to be going north on the east coast. The furthest north I have been is in Maine near the Canadian border. Early Sept will be Indian Summer time so the weather should be beautiful. Sunny and warm, but not hot. Great! Can't wait to see the excursions.

So the night before I can stay in my cousin Mike's apartment and we can keep our car parked in his garage and walk to the boat from there....it's right across the street. After cruise, we just walk across the street and get into our car and drive home....we'll be there in one hour or so. That's so easy.

Since the cruise leaves on a Friday and is only 5 nights....John only has to take off Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday....that's only four days. It's doable. Especially since we're only using 1 night before and 1 night after in LA for cruise to Hawaii. That's 17 days total, it's less than 3 work weeks....so John will have the time. YEAH!!!! No more salary deleted days like after Alaska.

Thank you Monica for taking care of this for us. Now I need another dummy date.....hahaha. I should have listened to Jackie....she TOLD me I needed more than just one. ah-hahaha!!!

OMG! That puppy looks just like my Jock!

The girls laughed at me as we were driving home from Sedona and I told them if we got home in time I was going to the Humane Society and getting a Min Schnauzer. They laughed and said "Sure, there will be a purebred Schnauzer just waiting for you!" We did, I went, there he was!

I always feel safe looking a puppies, as I know having one is out of the question while I still plan on doing all this traveling (and often doing it with the person who would be my dogsitter). And when I seriousily think about a cat I just keep reminding myself about the litter box! I'm pretty sure there will be a kitty in my life later on though. :cat:

I grew up with miniture & regular schnauzers....

No fear playing w/ puppies......I know I don't want one now....if I do anything, it would be a kitty.

Even though my pets are psycho crazy.....I LOVE having a dog and a cat. I talk to them both all the time. But I'm doing just the opposite....when we move to Florida, I'm not having any pets. They will interfere with my social life....hahaha....and I'll have John home more to keep me company. Not saying that he's my pet or anything....haha.

I'm thinking of becoming a "kitty cuddler" at the SPCA near the Millenia Mall....it helps kitty cats become more social/sociable. I'm going to go to a volunteer meeting & get more info.....that way I can play w/ kitty cats & not even have them at home :) (so no litter box).

I do still have my four legged 'nieces' to play with when I need some puppy love and I get to take care of them when Peg & Jose travel (if the 'girls' aren't actually going with them).

Home from work today...icky tummy....
combined with a mild does of....shirking!

That's a great idea. Take pics of the babies and post them when you can. I love the babies.

Figure this would get me out of the house, too ;)

I changed my signature already and added the Sept 2012 Canada cruise. I'm not too excited to be on the boat again.....more than once in a year.....Hahaha.....and I'm not even getting a divorce. WOOHOO!!!

When I move down there....are you going to be my beach buddy? We could go on a weekend day. I only like the ocean, not the gulf. Is that okay with you? I would go somewhere around Cocoa Beach. I love that area and the beaches are beautiful.

Mon....don't forget to mosey over to facebook and wish Simone happy birthday!

And that was the strangest thing about the name...what's going on over at DCL anyway? Hearing lots of bizarre stuff lately with people's reservations. :confused3

YEAHHHHHHHHH.....coz you know how John does not do sand. I LOVE the beach and miss it so much. I'll be there often. I'll twist your arm and give you an indian burn. Did you ever do those when you were a kid? My brother did them to me all the time. I still remember.
