They had Curves in the spring, but it ended the week before I started. They are planning to bring it back again for one evening a week, and I have no idea what they actually do for Zumba.



The weekend starts tomorrow after work. CFL football season starts tomorrow with the BC Lions playing. Friday is Canada Day and will likely be spent relaxing at home. If the weather is nice we'll head down to the park where they have multi-cultural celebration (food booths from a bunch of nationalities & various dance groups on the stage). Saturday I'm taking Shaelyn to our old town for a visit with her friend, and hopefully I'll spend the afternoon visiting with my friend. Sunday may be kayaking or it'll be housework/gardening and then back to work on Monday.

Tom called yesterday. He'll be moving back in with us soon. His roommate is moving back home with his parents. I think it will be fine this time. I could use the help decluttering this house. I'll keep Tom busy when he's not working. I think it will be good for him and us.

Dad got to Atlanta last night & his flight from Atlanta to Buenos Aires was cancelled....so....back to my sister's he went. He's there now until the 2nd.
No clue why it was cancelled.

Monica and Shannon, Zumba is exercising with latin dance movements to latin upbeat music. It's more fun than just exercising. I have looked into it. It's something I want to try doing. Just google it and you'll see it.

Shannon... I agree... but I have to admit... I was the messier one growing up. She even put the line down the middle of the room when we lived in the same bedroom...

Spent last night changing out my linens... found an old duvet cover that I forgot I had... pinks and blues... gives a different color to my room for now.

Mom got her perm yesterday... so I'm calling her Miss Fuzzy... She's leaving next week for a trip with my brother to Cape Cod.

I went down to get some juice earlier and heard all this noise.. since our garage door is still broken, Mom decided to bring the BIG rolling garbage can in THROUGH the house and out into the garage.. granted... it's only about 10 feet of hallway... but at least the board... (me...) can't complain that she left the garbage out in front of the house....

Hi Deb - I know what Zumba is...I have the DVDs. Really curious how Curves is combining that with their normal circuit (which takes only a 1/2 hr).

OK....sorry. I get it now. I don't know anything about Curves. Do you do the DVD's for Zumba? Do you like them?

Actually, this is the third time that he's moving in here. The first was the worst, but he was still in high school then. The second time was fine. He helped me a lot around the house. And I never would have made it traveling without John down to Florida last year when my Aunt Jesse was in the hospital. Tom helped me pack and carried all the bags and knew the right directions to go in.....you know I have trouble with that. I think it will be fine this time. I'm looking foward to his help in getting this house in shape. I just can't do it by myself. And this time I'll have a car too. That's a big improvement.

That's sad. Wonder why it takes from the 29th to the 2nd before he can get back on another flight? Very strange. At least he's with Lisa and family and not by himself.

OH Albert.....so funny!!!! Dancing is better than exercising. Latin music is beautiful, especially the upbeat music and rhythms. It's lots of fun!

Monica.....how exciting for you. It's really only 2 more days if you count the holiday.....just the 1st on Friday and the 5th on Tuesday. Then you're working in your slippers. Even if you get up and dressed everyday, you can still wear slippers. What hours will you be working? I'm so happy for you!!! You have worked hard to make this happen. Congratulations!!!

My friend asked me if I go join with them on 20 July 2012 but I have not decide yet whether we can afford the flights or not....My mother in law said she would love to come along and see NY but we are getting hearing for the dog soon so who look after her oh dear...Also we booked Fantasy 2012 in Oct too... now I have not make up my mind what I want

Olivia is happy girl and she grown up too.

I signed school club for Olivia for four weeks start in two weeks time...

Ian and I are going down to York on 9 July and we are staying in York then next day we are going to hearing for the dog and stay for 5 nights... Peggy passed her assessment for working dog but still exciting in park and she refused to listen when she see another dogs!! Oh well she can bring more fun for us??

We cannot wait to see her soon...

Weather was awful here until yesterday start sunny at last....
