We went to Hot Topic at the mall to get our hair color today. I was too afraid to get the semi-permanent one the neighbor girl suggested. It would only last 2-3 weeks, supposedly, but I was hesitant. So we opted for a kind that only lasts until you wash your hair, supposedly comes out with soap and water. We have enough to do it a few times, that way we're not stuck with it for weeks if we hate it. Tyler picked blue and green, and I have pink and purple. Sometime fun and different.

I LOVE it, you guys!!!

I just got back from getting my hair done: cut, color, highlight, wax eyebrows. Just took two hours. My lady is fast. I went with brown and dark blonde highlights. I kept the length, just made it healthy and got long layers around the face. Pretty standard, nothing radical. Sounds like you and Tyler will have a lot of fun with your hair colors. I want pics.

Another weekend gone, and the list of the things to do isn't much smaller

Me too Shannon. We're both leaving on the same day and I keep adding things to the list as well. I only just started the list and the packing yesterday. EEK! That's VERY late for me. I'm usually done two weeks in advance. This time I only have six days to do it all. OMG!!!

Today is a much better day. I went and got pampered instead of getting pained. I got my hair and eyebrows done. Called my doctor early this morning and said cancel everything Dr. Mertz scheduled me for because I'm not doing any of it. I will call to see Dr. Beckett when I return from vaca. For now, just renew my antibiotic. I feel so much better and it frees me up this week to get everything done that I need to.....once I get off the computer.....hahaha.

Wow took me 21 pages to finally post in the thread.

Nice to see it still active and moving. I've just had 0 time of late. I don't know what is going on this year and I'm thinking that even after the vacation things won't slow down until closer July.

Third (could be argued 4th) election this year alone... Add to that, tomorrow I enter into negotiations for another contract where we will have to open a new office and hire new staff starting June 1st. As well there is a large program that I need to put together a proposal for that is due in by May 26th. Oh yeah and my normal day to day activities. This is not going to be a 100% relaxing vacation as I have to work on this proposal during the trip and try and get things ready to setup the new office for June 1. And of course with the new contract it means a new database needs to be created and new processes figured out. So hopefully by July things will be back to normal. Whatever "normal" is...

I do know I am looking forward to Saturday to put this election behind me - well at least as much as I possibly can until May 2nd. And I know Shannon will be happy when it is all over ...
