Have you guys seen where everyone is all in a tizzy bacause on the Magic the folks on the Caribbean cruise got the same note in their staterooms about tips that they were using for the Med cruises?
If you didn't know, they started charging the suggested tip amount to each stateroom during the Med cruises, and left letters in the rooms saying the amounts could be changed at guest services. They did this because with more guests for different countries, some of the CMs were not getting tips from folks who's culture doesn't normally tip. So basically it was a way to alert/remind people that tips are customary for these positions.
Most other lines already automatically charge tips
So ONE person on the Magic posted from the ship about the letter and a lively thread has insued.
I'm betting it was a mistake and the host/hostess weren't supposed to put the letter out any longer...OR...perhaps they are going to continue to do it on the Magic and see what kind of response they get. Haven't heard a peep from the other two ships that this is going on.
